UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late: The Quest for the satisfatction of having them all!!
By WHF | Lim Tae
Hey people, I'm Hirosan, an everyday simple gamer who loves fighting games (and actually in China the moment I'm doing this guide) from France. As I'm about to have every single achivements in the game ( It's just a matter of days ;)), and the fact that I saw no guides here on Steam, I decided to do my first guide ever in 22 years of age and share with the community how I got all the achivements the lazy way!

This guide is made for beginers and lazy people like me who just whant to get it done achivementwise, I don't have enough skill for super tryhard people, sorry guys :p

This game has a total of 53 achivements, you can unlock a fair bunch of it in a single day if you have a lot of time to waste.

So let's get started!

Welcome to the Jungle aka The Welcome achivement

Nothing much to do, just run the game for the very first time, I don't think you'll end up instanly out of stamina for this :p
"Tehcnical" Achivements, not that technical actually...
Those achivements are a kind of way to make you use the mecanics of the game and are like, super hyper easy to perform, but the only problem is that you cannot perform this in Training, VS (even against the CPU dang it!!) and not even online!! Which means that you'll have to do it either in Arcade, Time/Score Attack or Survival Mode. But don't stress out my friends, there's no need to rise up to the pro level to achive all of this within 5 minutes!

Also! In order not to get beginners or people who don't know much in fighting games lost in the middle of the way, I gonna refer the buttons and the characters's move a lot with letters and numbers, so here's a quick guide about imputs references!

The Numeric Pad correponds to the joystick (Mainly the acarde ones but can also work with every controller as long as there are directional inputs) AND the directions are given assuming that the player is in Player 1 position (Left side of the screen facing the right side) : 1 = Down-Left, 2 = Down, 3 = Down-Right, 4 = Left, 5 = Neutral (like just don't touch your stick), 6 = Right, 7 = Up-Left, 8 = Up, 9 = Up-Right.

This game has 4 imputs buttons: A, B, C, and D:

A is the Light/Weak Hit input as well as the auto-combo input if you press it many times (and want to feel like a Combo god). Unfortunaltely there's no way to disable the autocombo imput which made me sad for a little while. But since I got a better understanding of the game, I'm at peace with that.

B is the Medium Hit input (because no matter what, every character mixes punches kicks and weapon): Medium hits are your best friends when you want to save some meter (aka the EXS gauge)

C is the Heavy/Strong Hit input and also the EXS Version of every characters' moves you'll manually input with this button as long as you have at least 100% EXS filled out of 200% (The EXS version move also happens at the end of an autocombo, so be careful when mashing!)

Last but not least, and also kinda very important (like, a very important feature of the game), the D button. You're going to use it a lot of many purposes! :

  • The GRD Gauge: Placed in the middle part of the screen, autofills during the round, can be filled manually by pressing and holding the D button, when given advantage, the "Vaporal" (The circle in the middle of the gauge makes a complete round every approximatively every 15 seconds and will be brighter on the Red side if Player 1 or Blue side if Player 2 depending on the dominance during the round), you can double press D to gain meter AND cancel in a middle of a combo! : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813248723

  • The Shield: Just by holding the D button while on guard ( just hold the back direction of your character) You'll make a shield that will block every damage AND fill your GRD gauge if you're taking hits, but careful, a powerful special move is stong enough to break it AND it will consume your EXS gauge pretty quickly! So don't rely too much on it! : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813248667

  • Infinite Worth: aka The Class-2 badass moves, The input (the same for every single character and the perfect exemple about input references) is the following: 41236C which is Half-circle+D (Take a little look at your numeric pad and get amazed for 20 seconds).

Alright, that shoud do it! Now back to business!
  • Raise Shields!: Just take some hits while on guard and hold D at the same time.

  • En-Chain-Ting: Quickly press D twice when the GRD gauge is bright for you aka GRD Vaporal (Exemple, if you're on Player 1 side and the gauge glows red on your side, you're cleared to do it! Just look at he previous screen about the GRD gauge)

  • Time for The Unveiling: Go berserk for a while by just pressing A+B+C at the same time to activate the Veil Off mode (make sure you have at least 100% in your EXS gauge): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813250401

  • Could This Get Any Worth: Get your EXS gauge full or get in Veil Off mode and input that 41236D (Somehow can kill two birds with one stone achivementwise).

  • Everything in EXS: This one is kinda pain in the ass, because you'll have to do an Infinite Worth EXS aka Class-1 supreme-tryhard-desesperate-finisher badass move (But don't confuse this with an Instant Kill like in Guilty Gear, I made that mistake once and got my ass kicked afterwards...) with every character, which means, going to Arcade, Time/Score Attack or Survival Mode, get your EXS gauge full, and get your ass kicked until you have less than 30% of HP left before being able to activate it by pressing A+B+C+D at the same time, 16 times! And trust me it's hella long.

    https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813250857
When I said less than 30%, it's at least 29% to really be able to activate the Infinite Worth EXS, so when in Training mode, you should better set the Max HP at 20%

    So my advice would be:

    1. Go to any mode mentioned before (Setting the difficulty to 1 (easiest) is recomended)
    2. Pick a character
    3. Fight until getting less than 30% of HP and make sure to have a FULL EXS gauge
    4. Unleash the Infinite Worth EXS, grab some popcorn and appreciate the animation (If blocked or avoided, repeat the previous instructions until it hits)
    5. Press pause, get the hell outta here and repeat this 15 other times until you get your achivement (That was a nice way to save time)
Acarde Clearing Achivements
Well, 16 Characters, 16 Arcade Modes, 17 Achivements (The last one to rewards you for clearing Arcade mode with every character) there's not much to say, I did it by setting the difficulty on easiest but if you want to challenge yourself, feel free to set the difficulty at your convinience!
Other Game Modes Achivements
Except for Survival Mode, Time and Score Attack Mode are Veeeeeeeeeeery Easy! (With a Capital V and E!) Training Mode is Obviously Obvious and the best character fit for this job is none other than Gordeau: Top Tier, Powerful, A WTF Sctyhe range, and a Force Function (B+C) with the biggest range of the game (I guess, tell me in the comments if I'm wrong), anyways, this guy will enlighten your days in getting achivements you thought hard to get! And obviously, if you really want to get done with it real quick, don't foget to set the game difficulty on 1 aka Easiest!

But for Real Though aka The Punching Bag Achivement

Go to Training mode, pick the character you hate the most as your sparring partner/punching bag, and hit it until accumulating 300,000 damage, you can either go all out and get it done in a few minutes or just take your time if you're lazy or sadistic...

Attack on Score

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810454539

The aim of the achivement is to get at least 300,000,000 points in Score Attack Mode, simple, like I said, pick Gordeau, set the game on 1 difficulty and make a slaughfest until the end and get as many perfects as possible to get bonus points in order to increase your score.

Time Heals All Wounds... Hopefully

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810454467

For this one, you need to clear the mode in less than 10 minutes, repeat the same procedure as for Score Attack Mode, but this time, make sure that every single stage lasts no longer than 55 seconds at most, that's very important (On the screenshot, you can see that I kinda screwed up in stage 7 and 9 but still managed to get it done), other wise you won't make it in time!

Ok now, to the last one... Oh my... This one drove me mad more than once, but don't worry, I found the cheapest way to unlock it!

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?

Alright, for this one, you have to manage to survive at least 30 stages, until few days ago I never noticed this detail: The further you go through the stages, the stronger the CPU is! Even in 1 difficulty in other words, if you're not careful starting stage 10, one little combo will make daamage worth 50% of your HP and staring stage 20, one single hit will be enough to deal at least 2000 damage, and above stage 30, let's say that every CPU you'll meet will live his broken-op-character era.

In order to avoid anger crisis and despair, the most efficient character for this in no other than every Lolicon fanatic otaku favorite waifu (I will never allow Linne to be labeled as a Loli, NEVER!!): Vatista!!

Why Vastista? Simply becasue she can deal enough damage at a very safe distance with her charge move 64A (For Beginners: In order for a charge move to succed, you need to hold a direction for at least 2-3 seconds, before inputing the opposed direction and the corresponding button, it's not easy when you're not used to it (Lil' Trivia: In Street Fighter II, charge characters like E.Honda or Blanka were originaly designed for beginners that's why they only had charge imputs in their movelist. Kinda ironic sometimes haha), so take your time to get to used to to the charged input and make sure you can spam it with enough consistency to last at least 30 stages). Don't use the B and C (with less than 100% of EXS gauge) because they're anti-air moves!

Now, the main strategy is, to make the less effort possible, spamming 64A as much as possible, keeping the CPU away and clear 30 stages!

In case the CPU gets a little too close, don't hesitate to autocombo to reset the safe distance, especially if you have the Input Choke Syndrome (It can happen that you can't do the 64A input correclty and stress out because of this. It happens because it's a very awkard imput and very non-ergonomic one, just keep it cool and do it slowly and then get back to your usual spaming pace).

But once you've cleared the 30 stages required to unlock the achivement, you can either go suicide on stage 31, or just try to push even further to shine in the leaderboards! (I ended up with 40 wins with Vatista but I got carless at some point so I got rekt by the CPU and sorry, because of the hype I forgot to take a screenshot T_T)
Money, Shopping, Gallery, Randomization and Card... We do this online now!
This section will deal with the "little detail" achivements, the kind of achivements you can unlock by going through stuff you usually overlook such as the Gallery Mode, The Customize Mode and The Replay Mode (Because you're not preparing any CEOtaku tourament).

As for the Network mode, I decided to also include it in this section because it would be a waste of space to make a section just for ONE network mode related achievement!

Anyways, let's get around this very quickly:

  • You Half to Trust Me and There's a Whole in My Heart: All you have to do, is to save money through clearing Arcade, Time/Score Attack, Survival or Versus Mode and just buy every single illustrations and videos in the gallery. It's really easy, you just need a bit a patience and the Guest Illustrations are super well made! You'll get the first one, once you'll have unlocked 50% of the gallery and the other when you'll have buy everything (And compared to unlocking every single feature in Blazblue's Gallery mode, it's pretty nothing).

  • Can't Buy Happiness: Time to be a rapper and stacking money on the roofs! Juste save up 200,000 IP by playing anymode that gets you money.

  • Got Carded: Simple, go to Customize Mode, buy a card, and just equip it.

  • Living in Color: The description says, that you need to unlock 20 colors for any character, which means, as long as you have 20 colors on one character, you'll unlock the achivement but actually, the more accurate description would be: "Unlock 10 colors for any character" because there's already 10 colors avaliable at the very begining of the game, it will cost you 25,000 IP per character, just in case you want to unlock every color for the whole roster.

  • The Net is Vast and Infinite: Juste play in Network mode for the very first time (I was very lucky being able to find a match here in China because there aren't a lot of people playing this game out here!, otherwise I would've waited for months to be back in France and finally get an online match!)

  • I Wanna Be in Pictures: Just after your first online match, simply go to the Replay Mode and enjoy the sweetness of your first victory or the bitterness of your first loss.

  • Infinite Monkeys: Go to the character selection screen of any mode, unplug your brain, randomly select every character by chosing random selection, unlock the achivement, replug your brain. (I unlocked the achivement by having two Akatsuki randomly selected, let me know in the comments if you're having or had the same when you unlocked the achivement!)

Alright, now that were done with the small stuff, we can focus on the most difficult part and trust me, you're going to spend a lot of time to unlock them (or not thanks to me!)... The Combo Achivements!
Combo Achivements Part 1: The 5000 Damage Challenge (1/2)
This is the last big bunch of achivements and we're going to "analyze" every one of it because it's very specifc and also because there are two different objectives: Damage and Hit Combo.

We're going to start with the 5000 Damage combo achivement because there are 9 characters who have to do it (by you controlling them): Hyde, Linne, Carmine, Merkava, Seth, Eltnum, Chaos, Akatsuki and Nanase and the time I spent unlocking the achivement for each of them had varied between 5 minutes and sevral hours.

Maybe you'll stuggle more than I did or not, but this time, you'll have to get in mind that you won't get anything by mashing, you'll have to find the combo (that I'll provide you actually) that will allow you to reach the 5000 damage required to unlock the achivement, but fortunately, you're allowed to do so in Training Mode with any settings, which is perfect for us, lazy people!

Which means, in order to make it in optimal conditions:

  1. Set your EXS gauge on "Always Maximum"

  2. Set your GRD gauge on "Player Vaporal" (Which means you won't have to wait to be able to Chain Shift, I explained what is it above).

  3. Disable every kind of recovery for the CPU, otherwise, you won't go very far.

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810498614

OH DAMN! I just rembered that the first time I did it, I took pics with my phone... I gonna have to redo it again and get the screens T_______T

*Few Years Later*

Hyde: Dr. Jekyll

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810536063

I've been having fun looking for combos to unlock the achivements, but until I start writing this guide, I never thought about conserving a written note of the combos I've done to reach the 5k damage, so I had to rethink again, and made sure that I had a notepad and a pencil not far and the worst part, was to remake the same combo, so imagine if I'm had a fluke outta this (thankfully it never happened)! But anyways, here's what I found to reach 5k damage with Hyde:

9C (Charged C) > AirA > AirA > Autocombo+EXS Move > Chain Shift Cancel> Air236C > 236C > 41236D

  • Make sure that 9C is charged (Hyde will be bright for a second before the hit, otherwise you'll start with only 638 damage instead of 825 damage.

  • Be carful when starting autocombo after the second AirA, if you start it a second too late, it will start a new combo instead!

  • After canceling the first EXS Move (Before he lands a knockdown kick), don't rush to input the Air 236C command and like 0.5 seconds after the end of the move, directly link it with 236C and same with 41236C

Once you figured out the timing, there should be no problem as he has a fairly good damage input.

Linne: By Any Other Name

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810550149
Linne 7k Spam Combo

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810550199
Linne 5k Infinite Worth Finisher

Linne gave me the same impression I had day one, not as hard as I imagined... I mean to be able to reach 5k by just spamming 236C (and get up to 7k damage!)... I don't have the words to describe this! And that's kinda how I came up with the same combo but 2 différents ends: One for those who just wish to get the succes real quick and an other one with the same purpose but with something a bit more badass.

Combo 1: 5C (Charged) > Autocombo+EXSMove > Chain Shift Cancel > 236C > 236C > 236C > 236C >...And so on...

Combo 2: 5C (Charged) > Autocombo+EXSMove > Chain Shift Cancel > 236C > 236C > 41236D

  • The end of Linne's EXS Move gets faster and will make the dummy bounce against the wall, you can either cancel a bit before the end so that the dummy won't wall bonce out of your reach or make it bounce if you can handle the timing right after, but you won't really be able to spam as easily as you wish so I would recommend you to finish with her 41236D.

  • There's a little more recovery every two 236C, so don't input like a robot and watch the dummy carefully.

  • Linne is NOT a LOLI è_é I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the body shape, in the very core of the bottom of my heart, she's not and if you don't agree, we gonna go to war!!! Ayayayayayayaayayyayaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Carmine: Thicker Than Water

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810574789
Carmine 5k Combo with Infinite Worth
Once a friend told me that Pink is the color of victory (Lil'Trivia: Pink is L.I Joe (Pro Street Fighter player) favorite color and he lets everyone know it)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810575048
Carmine 5k Combo with 22C

Yup, here we go again, 2 fun combos to reach 5k damage, altrough this one is a little bit harder than the previous one with Linne, but once you get it, it won't be impossible anymore, just pay attention to the little details and the timing between 623C and 236C

Combo 1: 9C (Charged) > AirA > Autocombo+EXSMove > 623C > Chain Shift Cancel > 236C > 41236D

Combo 2 : 9C (Charged) > AirA> Autocombo+EXSMove > 236C > 623C > Chain Shift Cancel > 22C > 214 C > Or more if you're skilled enough

  • The interesting thing in Combo 2 is that there's enough recovery to combo 236C and 623C WITHOUT using Chain Shift Cancel.

  • As I said for Hyde, make sure that Carmine shines when he lands 9C otherwise you'll deal only 643 damage instead of 849 damage.

  • Combo 1 is the best I to make sure that you'll reach 5k, the second is just for fun :p

Merkava: It's Hard Merk

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810592587

Well, I don't have much to say about Merkava... I don't feel very talkative... I feel simple, just like the combo I found out, and a little arm sacrifice has made a big difference in the damage ouput

So here's the combo:

22C > Autocombo > 236 C (input it when the autocombo reaches 10 hits) > 236 C (Don't input before the wall bounce) > Chain Shift Cancel > 41236D

Man... I feel so empty, I feel so Void... *leaves* That was a bad joke...

Seth: Are You Up Seth? Yes I am è_é

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810632938

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!! GAD DANG!!! That's one of the reasons I hate Seth!! His emo-sasuke-like attitude, every dang time we was on my way in Survival Mode... MEH!

Anyways, hate aside, after pulling out my hair outta this mess, I finally decyphered the how-to-5k with Seth, take notice that he's the first character with who I'm using the Veil Off, which kinda increase his damage potential. (You weak assassin, pfff!)

The Anti-Cringe Combo For The Sake Of Achivement:

Veil Off (Fully Charged recommended) > 236C > 236A > Autocombo+EXSMove > Chain Shift Cancel > 41236D

  • Veil Off, just Veil Off to get done with it!

  • After Setting the 236C and the 236A, wait for every arrows to hit the opponent and normally you should reach something like 4074 damage before having to cancel and finish this with an Ifinite Worth

  • The timing concerning the traps is kinda tricky, so don't waste time after inputing the first 236 C, and don't wait too long after the dummy got hit by every arrow, otherwise that will knock him down and you won't be able to continue the combo

  • ヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘトヘト *me trying to write "hate" in japanese*

Damn, I was writing Eltnum part when I saw I couldn't write more... Let's make a second part of it!!
Combo Achivements Part 1: The 5000 Damage Challenge (2/2)
Meh! I didn't thought I would write so much... But At least we're almost done for this part!! Hang in there people!!

Eltnum: Can I Go Now?

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810661872
After the hate, the Love! I really like her, I like her moves, I like the way you can do crazy stuff with her (Lil' Trivia: She's a guest character from the Melty Blood universe since UNIEL and MB are from the same developers: French-Bread, she looks like Sion Eltnam Altasia by the hair, the moves and also the weapons, but don't get it wrong, that's not her, and thankfully, she didn't underwent what Sion underwent and it wasn't pretty at all... Also her Infinite Worth EXS was along the Boss in Metly Blood Actress Again, I'm talking about Hermes.), but the combo I usually work on, do not exceed 3000 damages (with recovery on and even off!) and the fact her 214C has a great recovery to allow rushdown, which will be kinda crucial for the rest of the following combo and dont forgot to dash! (Double foward aka 66, don't forget that I made this guide for beginners too!) :

214C > Dash > Autocombo+EXSMove > 623C > Chain Shift Cancel > 41236D

  • Never forget the dash after 214C

  • You can start the combo with 22B if you want to have some fun, it will also connects with 214C

  • Cancel 623 C before she pulls the string (I know it's an Etherite, calm down young detail-minded otaku!) down, otherwise it will knockdown!

Chaos: Theoretically

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811214624

I... spent the entire night trying hard to make him go 5k with elaborate combo and juggles but acutally there was a simple, lazy and easy way to get it done... And by browsing a bit on YouTube (Thanks VPN) I found out how I did last time... And I was like: "Wut!? All dis night for dat!?"

So as a result of my sacrifice, the 5k achivement for Chaos will be the easiest to get just with this:

Veil Off > 623C > Infinite Worth EXS (Chaos is the second and last character with who I needed Veil Off You weak nerd u_u)

But there's also another combo that I tried to reproduce thanks to my apprentice who sent me an interesting video with the following imput:

Veil Off > DashC > Chain Shift Cancel > 5CC > 5BB > AirC > Air2C > 236A > 236B > 236C > Dash >41236D
Well, Theoretically, this is working, but I've been wondering if some changes happened because the video is 2 years old. In the video, you can see the combo going 15 hits without getting invalid (I could keep it valid only until the 7th hit) and the 236C made the Dummy bouncing at the end (wheras it wasn't boucing at all, or like too close to the ground) so that he could land without big trouble his Infinite Worth...

But if you really want to get your achivement, just stick to the lazy ass shortcut, because lazyness never gets old!

  • When Veilling Off at 20%, carefull imputing just A+B+C otherwise you'll go Infinite Worth EXS.

  • When I think, I spent the whole damn night trying to resolve this.... Oh my... *cries tears of beer*

  • Oh by the way, for those who want the demo of the second combo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_arCqtRv-D0&feature=youtu.be

For this tiny part, I would like to thank: The guys who made the video that helped me, and my fellow student Sandro, for provinding help even though he told me a sorry ass excuse for not being able to find a 5k combo on his own (He's waiting the next version of the game). YOU BETTER BE READY WHEN I'LL BE BACK BOY, WHEN I SAID FT10, I MEANT IT!! è_é

Akatsuki: Blitz off More than You Can Chew

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811290284

All the time I wasted on finding (again) Chaos' 5k combo, I kinda quickly catch up with Akatsuki, and in my opinion, his 5k combo ranks easily in the top 3 with Chaos (who's obviously first). if you instinctively do the autocombo with the EXSMove at the end and just for fun, you add a 236C and then you cancel it to do another 236C and then finish it with a Infinite Worth, you'll notice this:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811296504
Close huh?

The thing is that as low tier as he looks, Akatsuki has huge damage ouput which makes it kinda easy to reach the 5k damage and actually, all you need to secure your 5k damage... is a close range 5C, that's all... Crazy how just a 809 damage hit can make a huge différence!

Just like Eltnum, Akatsuki is a guest character from the game Akatsuki Blitzkampf, but this time, Akatsuki is Akatsuki himself! The game in itself seems not bad, the music either, but... Why the old graphics? That's something I had difficulties to understand... But anyways, despite that, I'm still curious about the storyline and if the game lands on Steam... Why not!

Now follow that combo and go get that achivement!:

Close range 5C > Autocombo+EXSMove > 236C > Chain Shift Cancel > 236C > 41236D

  • Make sure that the dummy is high enough so that you can have time to input the Infinite Worth commands

  • Make your life easier and start the combo in the corner!

  • Can someone give me his Arcade Mode achivement translation please? Is Akatsuki really human? What the hell is that suit? What is his german name?, I gonna investigate on this... And also about the storyline of his game.

Recenlty, I really can't stand Tsundere girls... Just their voice and their capricious and childish attitude... Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh I just want to smack them!! (with only 1% of strengh to avoir legal issues). But putting aside the fact that the tsundere personality is getting on my nerves, Nanase just kicked out Akatsuki from the #2 rank on the top 3 easiest combos, simply because, her combo to reach the 5k damage is pure SPAM and you don't even need to cancel anything!!Nanansense!! è_é I mean, I made 3 ways to reach 5k with her and the core of all those combos, is spamming 214C that's all! I mean, even my 6 year old stepsister can do it!

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811326809
Nanase 100% pure spam combo

Here's the combos, if we can really call those, "combos" hahaha:

Initial combo (To look syndically correct):
Autocombo+EXSMove > 214C > 214C > 214C > 41236D

Road to 10k combo (Weren't we supposed to stop at 5k?):
Autocombo+EXSMove > 214C > 214C > 214C > [Until your reach around 9k damage] > 41236D

Pure spam combo (Thankfully this is not possible in real situation, otherwise she would have been a god tier ever since): 214C until reaching the 5k... Or more... There isn't more lazy than that.
  • What can I say excepct that it's even deadlier in the corner?

  • If you cannot make it with all the info I gave you, I can't do much for you!

  • Never date a Tsundere, your wallet will die!

And that will do for the 5k Combos Achivements! In case people are sceptical, I've been doing every combos myself (except for Chaos but I really tried super hard, it's not easy at all with my current skill you know!) with my Hori mini 4 (So if you got huge ultra pricy Madcatz sticks, you have no excuses not succeeding in making those combos! è_é) and the screenshots were taken during the redaction of this guide hehe!

Now let's get going the second big part of those combos achivements with the hits!
Combo Achivements Part 2: Every hit counts! (1/2)
ALRIGHT! Last big bunch of achivements I swear! After that we'll be able to breath at peace and enjoy the joy of accomplishment. We're going to deal with the 7 remaining characters, Waldstein, Orie, Gordeau, Vatista, Yuzuriha, Hilda and Byakuya , who didn't have to make 5000 damages. This is the very reason why I wanted to deal with the 9 previous characters fist becasuse now we're heading to the hardest part of this guide (But the Survival achivement was still the hardest to unlock in my opinion), some will be easy, other won't! and trust me, I spent a fair amont of time unlocking those 7 achivements!

Waldstein: Between a Stein and a Hard Place

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811446622

Oh man, that screenshot... When I think I wanted to show you the Smurf version of Waldstein... (aka the Dead Apostle color, something like that) But yeah, it wasn't easy to find out a 20 hits combo with a slow brutal giant like him, the one I got little variables, by variable, I mean that some parts of the combo can be different, but will still lead to 20 hits. so have in mind that if you want to get the 20 hit combo, make sure to have at least made a 16 hit combo AND that you can land the Infinite Worth, otherwise, the hitbox will troll you, and I know what I'm talking about!

Here's the 95% optimal 20 hit combo:

Autocombo until 3rd hit > AirA > AirB > AirC > Autocombo+EXSMove > Chain Shift Cancel >623B > 41236D

The tricky part with this combo, is that you'll need some input accuracy and timing, but after a couple of tries, you shouldn't have any problem unlocking the achivement, and as for the variations, I'm too incertain to put them on the guide so I'm not taking the risk to get you in the wrong people!

And for this part, I'll show you all my previous screens from the day I unlocked the corresponding achivement (Cause I finally understood how to screenshot on Steam...), I'm going to call this, the "The Achivement Day" series, so that I feel kinda artistic hahaha! (All of them are from last summer 2016)

  • Watch carefully the timing of every move.

  • Bewteen the air combo and the autocombo, don't hesistate to push a little foward.

Orie: Welcome to Heel

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811473632

Here we go, another spam combo!!! and as the memories of last summer are comming back, that's also how I unlocked this achivement, and this is the kind of situation that can make a question pop up your head like: "Why I am even writing this guide?". You can feel lucky people, if you're on the achivement run, bewteen two complicated combos, I would recommend you to pick Orie and unlock her achivement in less than a minute I mean....

Just by doing this: 236C until 40 hits... Why being elaborate? And if you want a nice finisher, just do a 41236D when you're around 30-35 hits.

The disrespect and lazyness was so real that I had fun pushing the limits like this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811473867

  • Just make sure you're not imputing 623C instead of 236C

  • Them French delicacies

That wasn't a joke when the kung fu master said that you can go big with fundamentals only!

Gordeau: Purple Harvest

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811547280

Sometimes the frame is kinda cruel, and as I have 0 knowledge of the frame data, it took me more time to figure out the timing and the right distance to input the right commands at the right time. This time, you'll need to have some basic execution and timing, crucial if you really want to unlock the achivement and get the 40 hit combo (Like, cleaaaaaaaaaaaaan 40!)

This is the combo without the details:

Autocombo until 11th hit > 623C > Autocombo+EXSMove until 31st hit > Chain Shift Cancel > 41236D

To make sure this combo works, you'll have to pay attention to those little details:

  1. When going for the 623C, make sure that the dummy is high enough so that it'll be at the perfect reach to continue the combo.

  2. After the wall bounce, it can happen that the dummy takes one hit and falls on the ground, 1 time out of 3 approximatively (I'm bad at maths, careful) you might be able to follow up, but the best still is that you directly can follow up with the full Autocombo, so try to place yourself in the best distance possible

  3. Right after canceling at the 31st hit, try to input the Infinite Worth ASAP, otherwise it won't connect. and you'll cringe outta hit, I know hit! ;') And why canceling at the 31st hit? Simply Because Gordeau's Infinite Worth is a 9 hit combo, I'll let you do the maths.
  • You better be focused on this one

  • If until now, you ever struggled with the Dragon Punch input (aka 623 aka the little Z in Street fighter aka Right Arrow, Down Arrow and Down-Right Arrow) Here's a little tip I learned from Guilty Gear Xrd's Tutorial mode: Simply input forward and then a quarter circle, the game will reconigze it at a Dragon Punch command, look again at you numeric pad and press in the following order : 6 > 2 > 3 > 6
Contratulations, you just input a Dragon Punch command!!

  • Huuuuuuum.... GRIMU REPPA!!!! è_é

Vatista: Nerve Us

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811598973
Alalalala, those numbers are huge right? But don't be affraid by such things as numbers, be affraid of how you'll have to execute this combo, because not only Vatista is the only character with charged moves only AND as if it wasn't enough for you, beginner who might be inexperienced with charged inputes, two of them very important for the combo are inverted!! YAAAAAAY!

Just take a little look at her movelist:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811604815

This time, the difficulty will be during the canceling, after the 82C and a little be at the end to finish with the Infinite Worth, so especially for this time, we're going to break the following combo down step by step:

46C > Autocombo+EXSMove until 25th hit > Chain Shift Cancel > 82C > 64C > 41236D
  1. First charge a 46C and start the autocombo right away, don't even way for the orb to end!

  2. During the EXSMove, prepare the 82C before canceling at he 15th hit. (The first awkward input which starts with a charged UP and then Down!)

  3. After inputing 82C, imediatly preapre 64C (The second awkward input which starts with a charged FOWARD and then Back!) but the trickiest part of this combo is that at the end of 82C, you'll be in the corner and the last two hit will send the dummy on the other side so you'll have to charge Right and then input left, that will be recongnized as the Left-Right input since you'll face the left side.

  4. After 64C, you'll have little time to input 41236D, I got lucky for the timing, but once you got it, once the first hit connects, the fatisfaction will be there and then this little square will pop-up saying that you've unlocked the achivement. So don't be discouraged, because if you're stuggling for this part, it means that you succeeded in doing the awkward inputs! ;)

  • Nothing more rewarding than getting used to the awkward inputs (82A/B/C and 64A/B/C)

  • Don't try to add more power by adding the satelites, it will only knockdown the dummy

Looks like I gonna need to make another part! Dang it!!
Combo Achivements Part 2 : Every hit counts (2/2)
That's way too bad when you think you have enough space and actually you don't because you writte so much stuff!! But first things first, I need to finish Vatista's part, I mean, poor thing, she got cut by the space limitations!

Let's finish Vatista!

So... Before I got cut by the limitation, I was about to say something with dakimakura as a word of reference! Here I go:

"If you have a Vatista dakimakura (Human size pillow with a female character 99% of the time) and you're doing naughty things with it... Then you're not worhty of my teachings!! è_é *ドドーーーーン!* GET OFF THAT SCREEN!! STOP READING THIS GUIDE AND GET YOURSELF SOME SOCIAL LIFE SKILLS! And then you'll be cleared to resume my teachings *traditional japanese music*" (Between us, don't take it personal, it's 6:15am Chinese time and I spent the whole night awake doing combos just for you, I hope this little joke won't kill you haha!)

And of course, it would be a shame to forget the trowback and the very proof that it's not the first time I'm doing this:

Yuzuriha: Rezoning

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811742268

Yeah, I wanted to take a more artistic screenshot but like, doing it at 7am when you didn't sleep at all for the second night in a row, it's kinda complicated! This is my try at it:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811741787
Informationwise, it's totally legit, but still ugly! I can't allow myself to show you that!

Anyways, Yuzuriha, even though freaks can dig out some devastating combos with her, absolutely don't have the combo in her DNA, since her fighting style (Drawing sword style, I totally forgot the full japanese name of it, there's Iai in it, I'm sure, it's almost like Johnny in Guilty Gear!), is a Samurai-like fighting style, in other words, it's "one draw, one kill". And for beginners and lazy people like me and you, it's absolutly not obvious! But still, there's a cheap way to get it done, I mean, this is the very reason why I didn't sleep to write this down, and it's all about the way you'll time the mini-spam part of the combo, espcially concerning landing the 3rd 236C:

The 7:30am Child of the Moon Combo:

2A > 2A > Autocombo+EXSMove until 16th hit > Chain Shift Cancel > 236C > 236C > 236C > Infinite Worth EXS

  • During the first EXSMove, don't let it reach the 17th hit, or else the combo will end even if you cancel after that!

  • For the spam part, it's all about timing, rythm and observation: After canceling the first EXSMove, don't go 236C too early of too late, imput 236C on a regular rythm and watch carefully how high his the dummy so that you can land your Infinite Worth EXS right away

  • After this? Just sit back and enjoy the colorful temporary wallpaper before it gets tainted in junkie blood!

Oh yeah, before I forget, the screen of the first time! So beautiful! That's the kind of screenshot I wanted to take:

Hilda: Over the Hilda

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=812191470

There was a Top 3 of the most easy achivements to unlock, now there will be a Top 3 of the most hard achivements to unlock (But according to the global stats, the percentage of people who unlock them is only less than 3%!! But I think it's because there's isn't that many people in the whole Steam community who had the game that if we gathered the PC and PS3 players, the stats would have been a little bit higher!) and Hilda easily earn herself a spot in the Top 3 (As expected from a Boss Character). Hilda is definitly the most tricky character I've ever dealt with because I couldn't use her autocombo and if I did, the combo would just end and I wouldn't be able to do anything else and knowing that the goal is to reach 70 hit combo, and that her Infinite Worth is a 39 hit combo, finding a way to do a 31 hit combo wasn't easy at all (even remembering it). Obviously I made it, otherwise I would still be trying hard and not being wrinting those lines, but the thing is that my inputs were so messed up that I struggled to memorize the order... But thankfully, a miracle happened: My free version of Xsplit was working and didn't provoke any framerate drop! So thanks to that I was able to record the gameplay I break down the following combo:

214C > 623C > 236C > 66B > 41236D

Like I said, this is a tricky one, everybody knows that Hilda isn't the kind of woman who does the dirty work barehanded so, this combo is a kind of juggle combo from the begining until the end, but the most important to to make sure that the combo will reach at least 31 hits. Also, I highly recomend you to take Waldstein as the dummy for this one, as I noticed that surprisingly, thanks to his larger hurtbox due to his mountain like shape and size, he's taking more hits from 214C compared to a smaller dummy. And you must absolutely NOT overlook the following details:

  • The 214C > 623C > 236 C max hit potential is 28 hits: YOU MUST reach this number.

  • If you don't place 214C correctly, you'll struggle a lot getting the numbers (and the corner is your friend).

  • The best thing that can happen, is that the combo stays valid until you cancel and input 41236C.

Luckily for me, I already went through it, because it's very not instinctive and by moments I was on a stupid input mashing frenezy hoping to reach at least 26 hits! And you won't have to go trough this!

Byakuya: I'll Be Byak

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=813150965

At last! The final challenge, the most intimidating looking one! The Final Boss looking challenge! The イムポシブルチャレンジ looking achivement!!! THE 90 HIT COMBO!!!!!

Simplified by me, for you! This combo is very easy, and you don't have much to do since you won't need his Infinite Worth (which is the trap type, kinda logic for someone with a spider-theme weapon), the only ingredients needed are: some normals, an autocombo, two 236C and the secret ingredient: The Rekka!

Before I put up the recipe, I'm going to quickly explain what is a rekka:

A Rekka is a move that can be inputed up to 3 times (Here it will be 236B > 236B > 236B), and this can be the real deal to increase the number of hits, especially in Byakuya's case, you'll know that the rekka is working when you'll see 3 different animations.

Here's the last combo to get your last combo achivement:

2A > 2A > 2A > Autocombo > 236C at 23rd hit > Chain Shift Cancel at 47th/48th hit > 236B Full Rekka > 236C before 66th hit

The most difficult part will be to input the Rekka in the middle for the combo, and since the day I unlocked the achivement, I did it with a controller (Because mama didn't like the noise made by the stick late at night, kinda understandable though...), and it had a fightpad directional command which made the stuff a bit easier, so I struggled a bit with my stick but still made it. But if you don't find the execution of a Rekka move that hard, it's all and only for the better!

  • You can add a 4th 2A to the combo, then you'll just have to add +1 to the number of hits you'll have to input 236C and cancel.

  • If you struggle with the rekka, you can do the input 4 times until you see the 3rd animation, but don't rush it otherwise you'll end the combo instead.

  • Corner now, corner tomorrow, corner forever!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, this is it!! You've unlocked every single combo achivements there was to unlock!

The Remaining Achivement aka The less obvious of all!
This section originally made for secrets achivements is going to be shorter than expected, because actually, there were something like, 21 total secret achivements! And except two of them, I talked about every of them! What a fail...

But it's all good because I wanted to take more time on this one!

Piece of Cake

Remeber at the very very very very very very begining of this guide, when I said it would only be a matter of days until I unlocked everything? (I mean I started writing this guide December 1st, so you know, with the little research In Game and the editing part, times flies you know!) I was actually waiting for Chaos' Birthday which is 12/5 (December 5th) And then that's how I unlocked the last achivement I needed to reach 100%.

If you don't do any reseach on the achivement list, trust me, unless you're a big fan of anime fighters, you'll never ever think about playing a character on his/her birthday. But since you're reading this, it won't happen to you because you'll have every (In_Birth)day listed on the chronological order:

  • Chaos: December 5th
  • Byakuya: December 24th
  • Seth: January 7th
  • Nanase: Febuary 15th
  • Linne: March 18th
  • Hyde: April 14th
  • Carmine: May 8th
  • Eltnum: June 1st
  • Gordeau: June 23rd
  • Yuzuriha: July 20th
  • Waldstein: September 15th
  • Orie: October 7th
  • Hilda: November 11th

Once you've patiently waited for the next birthday, just go for a little fight in the VS COM Mode, get out of here, and get your achivement!

Thanks for Playing

What else can I say? We made it! We reach the goal of this long achivement unlocking journey we got our last of last! We reached 100% and made the developer so happy they're very thankful for us having explored the game until certain depths that they gave us automatically the last achivement needed!

And this is also the end of the guide, I mean, I have no more stuff to teach, explain or break down. From here on now, all my knowledge on how to unlock this game's every single achivement will be consealed here on Steam!
Last words and personal thoughts on this guide.
Well, I really had fun and a huge pleasure writting this guide even though it's the very first (and maybe the last for a very long time) guide I have ever made, I really hope it will be useful for all of you as I put all my experience in this guide as I was trying to remember how to unlocked them (especially the combo achivements part). I took me approximatively 5 days to make this guide since there wasn't as much details to explain (except for the combo achivements), I spent entire nights trying to remake the combos and it wasn't always easy but I'm glad I've been able to remake them and even find better ways to do it since last summer. Now that I'm thinking of it, I might update this guide if Under Night In-Birth: Exe:Late(st) ever lands on Steam, or if too different, make a whole new one... But nothing is sure yet!

Honnestly, I really don't know how people will react with this guide, because when I'm reading one when I'm stuck in a game and I like the content, I keep it as a reference guide. It's not that I wish you'll do the same with mine (I'm a big guide noob, there's not a single doubt about that) but it makes me super curious because even if I don't expect any reward for this, it's like a feeling of being useful for the community (Here the FGC) by providing help even if it's just a simple achivement hunt. I think before everything, if in the near future you're planning to make a guide whatever it might be, you must have the will and the pleasure to do it, don't make a guide just because you want to look good, do it because you want it! And you'll end up like me being like "WTF Steam? How can't I write more!? Oh... That was the guide summary section... Oooooooooooooh... The writting section was this way... Ok... fail..." and a bit later "Oh come on Steam!! You know how much I write and you're putting limitations again! Dang it! I'll have to make another part, that wasn't in the plan!"

Well, since I made the integrallity of this guide by myself, provided every single pictures myself as well as the combo, I only have few people to thank for helping me getting out of the dead end (Chaos' 5k combo achivement), two unknown youtube video owners and Sandro, my friend and young fighting game student, even thought we might disagree on which fighting games are worth playing and spend time traning for and the fact that I kicked his ass a total of more times than I can ever count, I have a deep respect for this boy and his passion for fighting games and I'm looking forward to his progress every time we play together in hope he can put out sick sutff and get toe to toe against me before I download him. So if you're reading this Sandro, I'll have no mercy slaughtering you in any fighting game!! Even KOF if you don't train correctly!!!

Thanks for reading people!!
Update section: Stuff I missed out, The people's voice and discoveries.
It's been a little bit more than a year since I wrote this guide back in December 2016, so far I've been so proud of it and well, even though it didn't went viral, it's not like it would have changed my life!
The main reason why I decided to add a new section instead of directly updating into the other ones, was simply to avoid making a mess for nothing, so I'll make sure to let you know when to check the updates.

But anyways, I'll be posting there mostly every suggestions and combo that people found while doing the Achivement Combos (To avoid any potential wars, I'll try them all before putting them, if you want to of course, that way I'll ensure that it's possible to do it and add a little comment.)

Jan 29th Update:

Hilda's 70 hit Combos:

New combo found by Core Gaming:

(Start at the corner) 214C > (Hold) C > 66B > 41236D

New Combo:

214C > B+C > 66B > Chain Shift > 41236D

Core Gaming's Combo Variation:

214C > Hold C (Keep Holding and release to get the Dagger) > 41236D

Hiro's Comments: After being told about the previous combo, at the beginning, I tought there was something missing, until I realize that I had to Hold C right after doing 214C, because if you keep holding it after 214C, there will be a dagger, which is not bad but not useful since there will be 66B behind.

And right after, I just came up with another combo with the same start but I used Hilda Force Function which proven to be very useful to stuck Waldestein under the arrows and reach a great number for the combo (Between 27 and 30 when done well) and getting the missing hits with 66B (Which is 4 hits) and then you just need to cancel with a Chain Shift and finish the job with the Infinite Worth.
As for the variation, that's where the dagger stunner is useful, and right after holding C, you'll get a a 5 hit combo move and right after to have to release to get the dagger which will stun the dummy and give you enough time to finish the business.

Althrough... I think I just went into complex stuff, but I swear it's working!!

I Wanna Be In Pictures achivement update (by Core Gaming) :

Well, if you can't access your replays, you can still manage to get the achivement by watching other replays from the leaderboard replays.

June 16th Update:

Lil'Speech, because it has been a long time since last January (And because I'm the author so yeah è_é): Sometimes this game never ceases to amaze me, It's been years since it was released and there is still stuff to discover! F*** I need to invest more time in fighting game this summer!!

Anyways, today we had 2 combos updates for Gordeau and Vatista brought by CGC | MrFacePalm!

As you know, or maybe not, before putting any updates, I always try them myself and then I put them in the guide without forgetting to credit the player who found it (That's what FGC should be about). That's my policy.

Gordeau Simplified Combo by CGC | MrFacePalm:

2C>2C>22C>CSC>22C

Vatista Simplified Combo by CGC | MrFacePalm:

6A*>64C>64C>64C>64C>41236D
*: I noticed that going 5A>64C was something nearly impossible in Vatista's case, but by looking at the time I reciveed the comments, I understood that there might have been some mistyping ;)
It was very funny to do those combos and at the same time I also came with new stuff of my own!

Vatista ULTRA Simplified Combo:

64C (until you get to the requiered number for the achivement, which means 70 hits)

For Vatista, I realized that if you get the 64C spam timing right, you end up with something like that: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1413931608

Why didn't I think about this possibility when I made the guide? I don't know haha.

And then for Gordeau, I came up with an alternative version of the combo previously mentioned before.

MrFacePalm Alt Combo:

2A>2A>2C>Autocombo>CSC around 20th hit>22C

I've been trying to do "Are you not entertained" with Vatista and it's been real rough, then I saw the previous comment about Hilda 236A spam.

Literally got the achievement first try.

So thanks for that. :)

For "Are you not entertained" I would recommend Hilda over Valista any day.

Hilda's Scewer (26A) is much more spammable than Valista's laser-ball. It has about 2-3 frame start-up and no cooldown either. It also covers the entire screen and as such cannot be jumped over. With Scewer alone you can easily keep enemies at bay and clear most fights in 10-15 seconds max.

I'm not sure who designed this move, or decided it was a good idea to have it in the game, but it's in there so may as well make use of it I guess...

Good guide, but the cheat Chaos combo doesn't do enough damage even with Veil Off. Any reasons as to why?
