Guess it saves the trouble from going all the way to the computer to activate the elevator.

Yup. Sure did.

I mean I didn't know you intentionally made the elevators openable from owning the card.
DaveOfDeath 18 Jan, 2017 @ 10:55pm
@Clockwork, that was intentional. You have to talk to that first scientist before you can go down the first lift.

@ledeir : The cards do work only on their own floor. Sub-level 2 card is useless on sub-level 3 (which is logical).

Yeah, once you get the sub-level card, you can open it like any regular door (making the computer unlocking obsolete). The only door you can't open that way is the one right after the entrance (since the locked icon was removed recently). Didn't know it was done on purpose though.

Yeah, mine was built originally to unlock with the card, and/or the terminal. So a non decker could get through.
ledeir 18 Jan, 2017 @ 10:15pm
In the original the terminal unlocked it.
In our enhanced version, having the card unlock it is good too.
Each floor is independent, so the card shouldn't work on other floors.
I do seem to remember there being some missing logic in the mod... I don't remember though.

Was under the impression that the card and/or the terminal would unlock the lifts. Never played the origional, is that not the case?

On the first floor, the interaction is missing. On the other floor though you can ser the locked icon. Maybe they shouldn't be there.
