Growing plants plays an important role in the game Planet Centauri.
At the beginning of the game, when still low on health and practically not have treatment potions, grown vegetables, fruits and food made from them are the primary means of restoring health and stamina away from home.
A first use of previously unexplored food gives a permanent boost to the health and stamina. A very significant at the primary level and does not the excess throughout the game.
Ripening time and loot
- Dug up any plant before 1x ripening fruit - you get 1-2 units seeds (depending on the time elapsed since the landing). This is from 0 minutes to the time indicated in column 3.
- When harvesting should be guided by a graphic image. Specified under it time is used that approx know the maturation time.
- Top is the earliest time when the plant reaches this stage. Lower - at the latest.
- After stage which shown on the last picture and to full maturity passes an average of 10-20 minutes, but the quantity of the received items is not changed.

Fundamentals of horticulture
First you need to make room.

Cut down the trees and clear the land from flowers, stones, grass and weeds. To remove the grass from the block of ore or coal, you must first dig them. The ax and a pickaxe, you can take in the chest near the green crystal, and a hoe to make in the standard crafting menu (opened by pressing the button "O").

Seeds for planting can be found in a thicket of grass or dig the encountered sometimes "wild" specimens. You can also get them after performance of the task.

Then select the desired seeds in inventory and begin to sow using the left mouse button (or you can put in the slot shortcut). Planting only on clean ground. If the seeds fall to the untreated ground or other soil (sand, ice), they simply disappear.

When sowing spend 1 unit seeds, but the area planted with 4 cells (sometimes 3 and sometimes 5 depends at what angle throw and where you stand). Depending on how much space occupy the plant, same number germs will be planted.
If you planted not as we would like, you can dig using hoe and re-planted. Per each excavated sprout you get seeds.
! This can be used to increase the amount of plant seeds occupying 1 or 2 cells: "Planted - excavated immediately - got 2-4 times more seeds than spent."
But to do it better in the beginning. If the plant has greatly increased, perhaps it would be better to wait for his maturation.

Most plants take up one cell. There is a 2-cell (yellow peppers, tomatoes) and very rare 3-cell (melon).

After have sowed field, can go engaged in the affairs, because the ripening process takes quite a long time. But...

... If you want your plants grown rapidly, it is best to watch that they will not overgrown with grass. As you can see, the grass very slows down growth.
Gardening Mechanics
Vegetables and fruits are growing for a long time. Everyone has their time ripening.
Also some random factors affect plant growth. Chance to trigger equal for all plants, but the value everybody has his own and he is very different. For some in the most unfavorable circumstances, the time of growth will increase by only 5%, for others to 50%.
From that, when you dig depends how much and what you get. Usually it is 2 Product: seeds and fruits. You can harvest after full maturity and get the maximum number of seeds and fruits.
But the seeds you will always have more than you need, so the main thing, on what necessary to look for, how much you will get fruit. A maximum amount of fruit you can get on 10 - 50 minutes before full maturity.
More details in the table below.

Feel like i noticed it grows faster the harder you hoe the ground, eg. make it look like the broken up dirt-rocky texture.
