Farming XP and levelling your character by doing so
This guide helps you famring infinite XP and helps progressing your characters.

There's nothing special to it, I just looked at how the NPC's spawn and found a way to make good use of it.

Basically, the Dev's Design-Decision of NOT randomizing the NPC-Spawns gives us great opportunities. :)

ATM there's only one level described, but I found several spots in several levels where you can do this.

For 10 likes, I'll post another level. For 20 Likes comes a third one, and so on. :)
Chapter 4 Level 2 - BRIDGE
The level we want is called 'Bridge' in Act 4:

There, you have to activate the switch and get ALL your marines onto the bridge in the 'Turtle Formation'.

I arrange my marines this way:

The Medic is in the middle, able to heal EVERYONE in one click.

The character you want to boost the most, has to be on the right, the secont character to boost on the left.

- The right character will kill 2 little tyrannids on every move (gaining 120xp on 'normal' per killed NPC - so 240 in total per move)
- The left one will kill one 'Firebreather' on every move, making 200xp every time.

The characters you want to boost EACH have a backup character at their side, in case they don't make the kill and we'll have to intervene. :)

Set your left character on Overwatch as follows:

He will kill this monster:

The right one aims here:

And kills those two monsters:

And that's all there is to it. :)

Repeat this procedure as often as you want - keep the XP flowing! :)

You can have both characters shoot the enemies or just the one you want to boost.

EVERY move there will be a Firebreather of 200xp on the left and two small NPC's for 120xp each (so 240xp) on Normal.

So you make a total of about 880xp per move, on 'Normal' Difficulty alone.

You CAN move the turtle formation around on the bridge if you need to:

Don't move too far or the script will start to spawn different entities, but as long as you stay on the bridge, the descriped spawn behaviour applies.

Thank you
I found many more such spots in other levels.

Drop a Like and I'll post more!

Have a good one, thank you for visiting.

Awesome, I'd been using that spot since near release on a pad years ago but never knew where I set up on the bridge effected the spawns. Thanks for making an easy farm even easier. ;)

Act 6 Mission 1: Daze

Mission Objective: Kill 4 Vibroid Glands; Plant the bomb.

Toughest enemy is the Tyrant Guard in this level as it is tanky like heck. But once it's dead complete the objective and have 4 of your squad rush the 2nd objective tiles. have the last one (preferably a Tactical or Devastator) stand near the objective point and have him blast at any Genestealer coming from the right side of the map. You can do this until that last Space Marine is occupying the last objective tile.

For me it's canyon pursuit, especially if you stay right at the beginning and fend off both spawns, two sm for the left one, others for the main

There are several. What I'd recommend is, before exiting a level, posting your marines in a kinda turtle-formation. Post everyone in a manner that he can exit in ONE move.
Then hold off as many enemies as you can, for as long as you can, and if things get hairy, use your move to exit.
