(4-3 version) Streamlined Main Menu Skin - Fog of War

Mô tả
This mod is a version of my 'Fog of War' Streamlined Main Menu skib, but compatible with 4:3 resolutions as requested by several users.

This skin simplifies the game's initial menu screen into a neat series of options, with official Age of Empires II HD Background.

Icons underneath the main menu display the installed DLC - for the base game, the AoK (red) and AoC (blue) helmets are displayed, with the AoAF (green) and AoAK (yellow) helmets displayed as well, if those DLCs are active.

This mod also tweaks one or two of the in-lobby icons for a neater look.

The background can be easily changed, so let me know if there's a version of this mod with different AoE2-related artwork you would like.

I've had a look and it seems that the game's menu screens always have black bars above and below on a 5:4 aspect ration, even the default unmodded main menu. This seems to be because the game locks the background art aspect ratio to 16:9, and then just cuts off the edges for non-widescreen aspect ratios. Because that appears to be a hardcoded part of the menu setup, I don't think I can do anything about it :(

Very little black bar because 1280x1024 is not 4:3 but 5:4 BUT It's great! Thank you! :)

it fits the screen now and works great, but it has black spaces at the bottom and top. but its not a big deal for me, just letting you know though.
