It changes the entities2.xml which is probably the problem. Looking into it now.

this mod seems to make it so that angelic prism and 7th seal create invisible familiars. i went down my list in debug mode enabling and disabling mods to figure out what was up, and this was the mod that caused the problem. not game-breaking but definitely worth noting.

There was no tell when the game first came out.

Wasn't there already a tell? I could easily see that they were slightly more red and had little squares that were slightly more grey.

Good, but Edmund has already said that there will be an update very soon that will make Mimics noticable.
