I have been playing Watch Dogs 2 on PC and Xbox One since the day it was released and I have put tons of hours into it.

This guide will teach you how to become good at hacking and getting to Master 1.

Step 1
When you start out you either load in to the area or transition into their game without a loading screen.

If you load in you will probably spawn in a sports car so you can catch up to the person you're hacking.

If you do spawn in a performance car, chances are you'll stick out like a sore thumb and you'll be caught before you even start the hack.

Now if you do start out in a city you want to look around and see what hiding spots you can choose from. Don't start the hack if you have no hiding spots near you.

Step 2
Once you're ready make sure you're at least 100m away so it'll give you at least 10% before he's even in the circle.
Make sure to use your drone so you know you'll be far enough.

You will also want to pick a spot that is near the edge of the circle so you can get the circle to close in to where they can't get to you.
(I know this is at a high percent but this gives a good idea on where you want to be)

So now you're half way through your hack, he's searched at least 70% of the circle.
If your hiding spot is good you've probably been almost caught or he hasn't even been near you.

At this point if he's smart enough he'll be scanning the rooftops with his drone.
If you know he might find you, get your drone out and put a bomb on it then fly it over to his drone and blow it up.

If he isn't using his drone then he's dumb and you pretty much have a garunteed win.

Now you're at the last 10%.
If you're lucky he's not even looking near you.
If he is coming near you, use traps to stun him so you can get that final bit of percentage to win.
If needed run away while he's not looking, be smart.

You're done
Now you've completed your hack, make sure to taunt him to show him that you're good.

Hopefully if you did this enough you will rank up to Master 1!

If he catches you, what do you do?

You have a couple options....

#1
Create distance, if you're on a roof, jump off the other side.
Create as much space away from him as you can.
Find a vehicle, stun him with a trap, blackout the city.
Do anything you can
#2
You're already in a vehicle.
Floor it, get away.
If he already is onto you, get to the city, set up traps for the steam pipes to blow up his car.
Turn cars into the road to hit him.
If he is still onto, then you'll have to grab a boat or keep the traps going.
