Adding your Weapon Kits
This is actually very simple to do, just follow the steps provided and you can get your custom attachments and guns for custom zombies maps.

==Step 1==
  • Start up Black Ops 3 and go into offline mode, then select Zombies.
  • Start by going into weapon kits and customizing every weapon the way you want it to be, (Note: Every attachment will be unlocked by default on offline ) when finished exit to main menu and exit the game.

==Step 2==
    From your desktop navigate to "\steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\players"
  • In this folder will have two files called "loadouts_zm_offline_0.cgp" and "stats_zm_offline_0.cgp" ; Copy these files

    Now with these files copied, you will goto "\steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\players\mods\usermaps\" and will find pretty much the same files listed there, paste the files you have into the usermaps folder and replace.

Now start up black ops 3 and play a custom zombies map, you will now have your customized guns.
Weapon kits and Zombies Mods (like Free Perkaholic)
-----PLEASE NOTE, THIS STEP REQUIRES THAT YOU HAVE MADE YOUR OFFLINE LOADOUTS FIRST!!----

This is also relatively simple as well, you will do the exact steps as explained above in the first section except, you'll be pasting the files elsewhere.
  • First thing you need to do is locate your mod on the Workshop

  • After locating your mod, and i'll use Free Perkaholic for an example, you will need to locate the URL/Address for this workshop mod. For some of you it may be at the top, otherwise you can Right-Click the page and copy the address and paste it somewhere.

  • You should end up getting an address like this " "h ttps:/steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=775553917" The following numbers at the end "77553917" will be the workshop ID of this item.

  • Next you will need to navigate to "\steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\players\<somefolderwithnumbers>\ (the folder will have a set of numbers i dont know if its different for everyone or the same.)

  • Now find the folder that has the same numbers as the workshop URL, in this case its "77553917"; open the folder and you will find the offline stats and loadout files like we found earlier.

  • Start by copying/pasting over your "loadouts_zm_offline_0.cgp" and "stats_zm_offline_0.cgp" from your "\steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\players" folder to the workshop id folder.
Congrats, launch black ops 3 and you can now use your custom guns with your favorite mods!

@Number1S0n, Alternatively you can go into OFFLINE MODE and resetup your weapon kits. but you have to do this for EVERY mod you load, so say you have a weapon pack mod- you gotta set up your attachments again in offline. Then you change to another mod for say like, perkaholic- well you gotta go into offline mode again and setup your attachments.

This only needs to be done once per mod. My guide is simply to explain how to copy over your weapon kits to everything to keep it consistent and to save you a ton of time.

As of 2019, this method no longer works and I can't find any other one that says to do anything differently. :(

Yeah, I figured as much. The actual process doesn't seem to be too complicated but there's absolutely no tutorials that I can find online, despite me coming across threads where people claimed to do exactly that. Gotta love when people do that. Anyway, thanks very much for your help. I wasn't even expecting you to reply, to be honest.

Edit: The only proper way as far i would know how to do it would be to figure out how to decompile both mods and carefully combine their code and assets.

@god's helix Thanks! It is safe to assume that multiple mods loaded is actually not possible as well, because of how their game engine operates. Every mod for black ops 3 simply takes an existing function or set of code and replaces it in order to get it to run, instead of additional code. The issue you would run into by managing to load two or more mods is that only one mod would take priority on the overwrite and inadvertently would just be a broken mod, ending with an error 1028 i believe.

Thank you so much! This guide is incredily useful. I've been looking for a way to do this for ages. I'd also like to know if there's any way to combine mods. I'd love to be able to combine a map with a mod that adds guns from different CoDs, like MWR. I've Googled this a lot and some people say it's impossible while others say it's as simple as editing a script, but none have mentioned exactly how to do it. I'm not asking you to make a whole guide on it, but I'd like to know if it is indeed possible, and if so, a short tutorial would be sufficient. Thanks again!
