Welcome!
PSA: You DON'T have to pass 64 levels in a row, once you pass the first 32 levels, you earn a checkpoint and the "Horus" achievement! :)

If you've passed the 16 procedurally generated levels, congratulations!

You just unlocked something far worse than what you did... And with good reason...

First of all... What is this about?

Well... You've unlocked the "Horus" lava challenge, where you have to pass all the 64 the first 32 normal levels, then the last 32 levels for the "Ra" achievement, but there are cruel twists to it...

1) Most levels are all different from the normal levels. That means more "followers" to destroy, "followers" changed to something else, more walls to challenge you, etc.

2) You can't touch any walls. One touch, you are dead.

3) If you do touch a wall, you go back. That's right... You go right back to level 64/32... No... There aren't checkpoints... You can make all the excuses you want, but you are going back, buddy.

Now... Do you think the 16 procedurally generated levels were hard? :)

Enemies
Without them, we have nothing to play, right?

You might know them already, but it's best to know them again, huh?

1) "Followers" (Basic colored blocks) will move slower by default, this can be used to plan an strategy in the get-go, so you can just let them surround you and then move away to put them all together, so you can take more control on the situation. They can come in different size and health.

2) "Space followers" will be more keen to kill you, which means they'll be much faster than the colored blocks... Don't let them get you, try to keep them all together if you can... If not, proceed with evasive maneuvers.

3) "Splitter" blocks will look like colored "Followers", but they will split into 4 small "Followers", they are usually more faster, but they also have less health than normal.

4) "Inert splitting" blocks will stay still when not hit, but once you destroy a section of the block, they will go at you with full speed... Keep them under control, and keep destroying the "body" until you finish it up.

5) "Shooter" blocks will shoot a tiny "Space" block that won't follow you but it will go very fast when deployed, but it will be used as debris that might kill you if you crash onto it. Keep a safe distance from it and avoid when you know the "Shooter" will shoot its payload.

6) "Boss Shooter" blocks will have more endurance, needing to be destroyed a couple of times to be able to fully destroy it... When you destroy one "part" of his health, the block will shoot "Space" blocks in 4 directions, facing you. As said before, the debris will kill you, so avoid them carefully and time your movements to not get hit by the full speed debris when deployed.

7) "Block dots" act as a wall, and a movement hindrance. Obviously avoid them entirely. They won't attack you, but they will kill you.

8) "Moving block dots" are the deadly variant of this wall, they will move clock-wise and counter clock-wise in place or they can go forward, reducing the space you have to eventually kill you. Use advanced evasive maneuvers and pay extreme caution when they appear.

9) "Expander" spheres will grow over-time to end your game prematurely by not allowing you space to play. Once they are dead, they will expand "space" uncontrollably until it fills the entire screen, effectively killing you. Shoot at it to reduce its killing force. Depending on the situation, act fast, kill good. Usually killed last to avoid its destructive force.

10) "Conjoined" blocks can come as "Followers" or "Shooters", but they will have "block dots" attached to them. Once one of the blocks are destroyed, the blocks might act erratically to try to kill you. Keep a good look of your surroundings, and don't let them get you. Usually it's best to not detach them to avoid other blocks get to you easily, but it's all up to your opinion.

Levels (64-45)
This images can be used for analysis and to develop strategies in what is needed to effectively complete them with 0% risk.

Level 64

Basic level, done with ease.

Level 63

Another basic level, proceed with basic evasive maneuvers.

Level 62

You can bait them and evade the blocks around, while using the wall as advantage.

Level 61

Pretty basic too, just use baiting tactics extensively to keep them all together and destroy the blocks accordingly

Level 60

Careful here, you only have around 50% area to play around, kill the first upper block on the left while going down to bait all of them, then go up quickly and destroy the other upper block from the left, you should have space to dodge and kill the other blocks.

Level 59

Not much to say here, just don't get caught on the moving "Block Dot" counter clock-wise

Level 58

One of the blocks is a "Splitter", randomly chosen from the blocks there, move to the right or the left, depending on which block is chosen as "Splitter" and start baiting them all accordingly to destroy them, be wary of the 2 "Block Dots" nearby.

Level 57

That big one is an "Inert Splitting" block, as well as 50% of area to play, extreme caution should be taken here if you don't know what to do. Use advanced baiting and don't ♥♥♥♥ around too much.

Level 56

Let them come to you, then move to the other side to destroy those blocks, bait accordingly when in need of movement to dodge the remnants.

Level 55

Extreme caution should be taken here, a good strategy is to let all the blocks go inside the bottom area, then start shooting them as you go up, so you can trigger the "block dot" to close, so you can quickly kill another one to open it.

Level 54

Not much to say, plenty of space to play with, just dodge the blocks and remnants as you know it :)

Level 53

Be fast, be quick. The "block dots" nearby will kill you eventually! So destroy the health of the block and dodge accordingly.

Level 52

Wait for them to come to you, then go to the other side and start shooting, quickly shoot and kill the first 2 blocks to close and open the "block dots" to easily pass this level.

Level 51

One of the hard levels ensues. While the "block dot" above opens, the other two below closes, so kill and dodge accordingly to your position, if done well, you shouldn't have problems going around the map without getting touch.

Level 50

Another hard level if you don't pay attention to your surroundings. Make sure to change position whenever you know the "block dot" will change to open, so you can go through and dodge appropriatedly.

Level 49

Pretty easy level, even if it's the final level in the set of 4 levels... Dodge and kill, dodge and kill, don't let yourself get trapped in the bottom of the "block dot" or close it too late...

Level 48

Be wary of the "Expander", kill the "Followers" quickly and you are good to go!

Level 47

2 "Expanders"! Kill quick, and shoot the "Expanders" lightly when needed.

Level 46

"Block dots" close to 33% of play area, so use advanced dodging tactics and destroy the blocks accordingly, shoot "Expanders" if needed.

Level 45

Act fast, kill good! My best recommendation is to not fool around. Destroy those blocks quickly, then move onto the "Expanders" before they kill you for good.
Levels (44-33)
Level 44

Not much to say, basic level that can be engaged as you want.

Level 43

Another easy level, don't let the "Conjoined" blocks get you!

Level 42

Baiting required, again, don't let yourself get trapped.

Level 41

My recommendation is to bait them all first, then destroy the "Conjoined" blocks first, then finish the "Shooter" last.

Level 40

"Dot Generators" are on both of your sides, move out of the way and destroy the blocks accordingly.

Level 39

Kill and dodge when needed, might take some time due to the "Dot Generators" around.

Level 38

An "Expander" is added to the fray... Worry not. Bait the "Followers" and kill them, being wary of both the "Generators" and the "Expander"

Level 37

"Inert splitting" blocks on both of your sides, caution is required due to the "Generators".

Level 36

"Movers" are added here. Destroy the "Followers" first, then go for the "Movers", being careful not to make them move too much.

Level 35

Oh no! An "Expander"! Luckily, this one is pretty easy, destroy "Followers", then "Movers", then finally the "Expander"

Level 34

"Conjoined Follower" and "Mover"? Huh... Good caution should be paid, since it's easily to get trapped when the "Movers" stay still, enlarging the "Block Dots".

Level 33

LAST LEVEL! Are you excited? This one is a piece of cake! Bait the big blocks a bit, and then destroy the "Movers" first, since they won't be much of an annoyance as the past "Movers" due to the weird positioning they have, then finish it all up by killing the "Followers" remaining.

Congratulations! If you got this far, you just earned the "Horus" achievement!

That's not only the good thing! The awesome thing is that you earned a checkpoint to continue through the final levels for the "Ra" achievement! Good luck!

Happy to help finish the guide by providing the remaining level images :cuphead: I can also provide strategies, although not the most comprehensive. I figure new players will still inevitably be trickling on into the game (myself only playing through its entirety very recently too) and might appreciate the guide, and more so a completed one at that
