Part 1: Understanding what this game is

Long answer with clues

"I've just launched the game, I don't know what to do."
You have just found someone's phone. Search it to understand what happened to its former owner.
"I've searched for a while, I still don't know what to do."
You can't access some of the apps because they need you to connect to the Wi-fi first. Try to connect to the Wi-fi.

You’ve just found a phone, you have to dig into the different apps to understand what happened to its former owner. Some stuff need passwords, GLHF!

Part 2: Connecting to the Wi-fi

Long answer with clues

"I can't find the Wi-fi password."
Try to search for it in the conversations. Maybe the phone's owner told someone about the Wi-fi password?
"I couldn't find with whom the phone's owner talked about accessing the Wi-fi."
Try reading the conversation with Rachel, or the one with Teo.
"So, the Wi-fi password is Melren's postcode. But where do I find it?"
Try searching for it in other apps. The answer has to be there, somewhere.
"I couldn't find it."
Look into the Weather app.

Quick answer with the solution

You have to connect to Melren’s public Wi-fi. The password is Melren’s zipcode: 29064

Part 3: Connecting to the Sam-thing account on the Lovbirds app

Long answer with clues

"Now that I have an internet connection, what do I do?"
You can look into the other apps.
"I can't find Lovbirds' password."
Look at the e-mails.
"I still can't find Lovbirds' password."
Send the draft to Alice from the mailbox.
"So the password is a date, but which one?"
Think about a date that is easy to remember as a password. Something that came to mind to most people when they have to define a password quickly.
"So, something easy like the owner's date of birth. Except it doesn't seem to work."
Read the conversation with Melissa again.

Quick answer with the solution

The password is Sam’s date of birth (31st of January), with the month before the day: 0131

Part 4: Connecting to the Sam-thing-else account on the Lovbirds app

Long answer with clues

"So the phone's owner puts the month before the day in their passwords. I unlocked the Sam-thing account on Lovbirds with their date of birth. But now how do I access the second account?"
Look at the content of the first account. You may find important information.
"I don't see what."
Sam is lying to their mom... But what is the lie about?
"I don't know."
Read the conversation with Mom again.
"Done, but I still can't see how Sam is lying to her."
Go back to Lovbirds, and read again the messages Sam has received.
"I still don't know how Sam is lying."
Go read the conversations with Harry and Lulu.
"Ok something is off. Sam doesn't like to read but goes to a "book festival"... But I still can't find the password for the Sam-thing-else account."
Find in the calendar when the "book festival" took place. And don't forget to put the month before the day.

The passwork is the day of the “Book festival” which was not a real book festival (it was a lie to Sam’s mother), with the month before the day: 1219

Part 5: Connecting to the VIP section of the forum

Long answer with clues

"I finally unlocked the second Lovbirds account. What do I do now?"
Look at the conversations.
"The conversation between Sam and Phil-Free is interesting. But I don't know what to do next."
The conversation between Sam and Phil-Free leads to other puzzles, look again.
"I'm paying attention. But I don't seem to have the right picture to send to Phil-free."
Indeed. However, Phil-free gave you the link to a message board. Have a look at it!
"How can I enter the VIP part of the forum?"
Try reading the public part first.
"So I just have to enter the wrong password thrice to generate a new one. But what's the answer to the secret question?"
Try looking at the emails attachments.
"I found a picture of Dad's birthday, how do I find his year of birth?"
You have to do a substraction. The year when the picture was taken minus his current age. You can use the Calculator app to do the math.

Quick answer with the solution

Go to the forum (link given by Phil-free in the conversation with Sam-thing-else), then go to the VIP section. Give any wrong answer 3 times to generate a secret question: what is the year of birth of Sam’s father? The answer can be found by looking into the photos sent by Melissa via e-mail: 1961. Then you’ll get a random new password by email, and you'll have to use this one.

Part 6: Sending the right picture

"I have entered the VIP section. How do I get Sam's picture?"
You can download the pictures from the forum.Then you will have to find which one is Sam's and send it to Phil-free.
"I don't know which one is the right one."
You have to compare with other pictures of Sam. Try searching the emails attachments.
"I sent the right picture. And now what, it's done?"
No, there is still one more puzzle to solve. Read the VIP section again to spot it.

Quick answer with the solution

In the VIP section of the forum, download the picture of Sam -who is the only one with blue eyes- and send it to Phil-free.

Part 7: Unlocking the hidden app

/!\ You have to send the right photo to Phil first.

Long answer with clues

"So I have to find the code for the Calculator app. I can't find it."
Phil-free gave you a hint in his answer when you sent the picture.
"That the picture was taken in Covonia. So?"
You could try a number linked to Covonia.
"I still don't understand."
Look into the Weather app.

Quick answer with the solution

Send the photo to Phil-free. He gives you hints in his answer, talking about Covonia. Use Covonia’s zipcode in the calculator, by pressing: 85922=

Part 8: Finishing the game

Long answer with clues

"Ok thanks, I think I have finished the game. Was it the end?"
Almost. Did you get Alice's email?
"Yes. What do I do with it?"
Try the Settings app.
"I have wiped out the phone's data. The End!"

Quick answer with the solution

You have to read the whole diary and once it's done you’ll get an email from Alice. She tells you to erase all the data from the phone. You can do it from the settings app. Keep in mind that nothing happens before you've read the whole diary.

This is the first guide I've seen that gives hints to finding the solution first! Would much prefer seeing guides like this that explain how an answer is found
