An Easier War: Mission Rewards

In 1 collection by RealityMachina
RealityMachina's Long War 2-only Mods
21 items
Description
Adds in more rewards to a lot of LW2's activities, you can expect a lot more missions to now also give you either supplies, alien alloys, or elerium dust, if you complete them.

A few missions (like the Network Tower or Regional HQ Assaults) can give out most or all of those rewards.

Latest Update
Updated for 1.4 compatibility, Network Tower Assaults will now give out a radio relay as intended.

Expect this to break LW2's intended economy by a lot. Will also not take effect on already-generated activities, new ones will need to be made for in-progress campaigns.

Does this still work with LW2 and how big % increase of loot is this compared to without it?

Work with LW2 from Steam and Works mid game, will show on new mission generated after mod activated, real helps with getting slow starts like me how missed a lot of detail switching over from base game.
Thanks for the mod

Hey @RealityMachina, thanks for these mods. Any chance of checking to see if your update to this works retroactively? Have a region that I'd done Tower on just before you updated the mod, and no free tower has popped there even after liberating the zone.

Is this fully compatible with LW 1.3? Just asking because there seems to be new mission types

How much are we talking in terms of rewards?

ill subscibe and if it makes it to easy ill just subscibe to that one mod that makes it so the force level goes up or down dipindibg on how good or bad you did on a mission. this should help me since im really bad but atleast make it to the end once.

I have the same question as others here, about how much this rebalances gameplay. Never played xcom before actually but i saw lw2 on a stream and ended up watching hours of it. I like the mechanics and want to try them out but i wouldnt want a constant struggle on the campaign. On the other hand i wouldnt want it to be completely game breaking easy. So.. where soes this lean and furthermore, iis there a way to rebalance your mod though some ini file later on iif it seems off?

Should I get this? Does it have a major increase to resources, or a minor increase? I like playing the game casually, and Long War II is clearly not built around that. It's built to make a stressful campaign, where you always feel on edge, and you aren't sure whether you can make it or not.

I like it, but I also just want to be able to afford more stuff. Is this mod going to make money rain from the sky or is it going to leave an extra $20 in my tips jar?
