I tried subscribing myself, and I can confirm I can't download it either. Am I missing anything? It seemed to upload correctly...

Firstly, thanks for a great guide. I did have issues with the map not converting to grayscale at the Inkscape stage and I got some help from Urban Games for a couple more things to try. Im posting this here in case you want to update your guide.
Using GIMP to convert to grayscale didnt solve my issue by itself either however, if you also remove the Alpha Channel it seems to make a difference if you are having problems.
Convert Image to Grayscale
This is accessed through :- Image >> Mode >> Grayscale
Remove the Alpha Channel
This is accessed through :- Layer >> Transarency >> Remove Alpha Channel
Then continue with the Export.
