I found the solution on the "For Honor Open Beta" forum (which is closed now). The original poster was goremachine. Thanks to him for providing this solution!
How to change within the game:

Exceptions:
Some versions of the game are region locked.
For example, some games are stuck with chinese and russian only. Meh Ubisoft, why doing this? :(

is this guide working for region locked version?

Yeah i understand and agree. Before, i couldn't send games to my friend in europe cuz they consider games are cheaper here lol. Cheaper? In Canada? The price difference is ridiculously low. But i couldn't. As you said, why not allowing me to pay the very few extra bucks of difference so i can offer him a game anyway? It's non sense :/

I usually either speak Georgian, either English (have an American wife) and these Russian locked games for me are completely unrelated and useless & almost insult. I really don't understand why these game companies think we can speak Russian & not English or why are we even still considered CIS is a mystery for me. I think it's time that this game companies must renew their policies for Georgia & stop giving us games in Russian. We're not related to Russia at all.

Sad thing is that Ubisoft isn't even giving me an option to pay a bit more and buy English version. I would gladly pay additional money and get English version, but they don't even allow it. Interesting thing is that Georgia is an ex-CIS country. Country withdrew from CIS in 2008, but yet we are still considered CIS here on Steam and for Ubisoft apparently too. Also, yes, Georgia is neighbor of Russia and ex CIS member, but we don't speak Russian! Georgia has it's own alphabet and almost everyone speaks English here except older generation. Russian isn't spoken here as a common language. You will hear about it very rarely and not everyone knows Russian, especially new generation. I'm 36 years old, I know a bit Russian, but only a bit and that's it, and I don't speak this language at all, not interested in. It's foreign for me.

I dont know but it would suck cuz I pay it in $CA so I'm not in a region where games are uterly cheap. I wouldn't mind trying but you can't receive a game you already own :/

Probably it would be still in Russian and Chinese, so, it's not a worth to try, but I really appreciate your offering. Thanks :)

Lol. I would tried gifting you the game on steam but you already have it and I'm not even sure you would have get the English version
