Just thought id add some tips for newer players or players who are having a bit of a rough go at it. Im currently in my 3rd year with 89k fans, the tour bus, and almost 200k.

1. when you start and you still need band members, spend only 500 on finding new members. this will give you lower stat members, but they cost much less and your stats suck anyways. you may need to do it again if you dont fill all of your slots, then spend 250.

2. write a lot of songs. early on do this with the whole band as it will give you a small boost to rehearsal stats to start since everyone was in on it. this does two things. first it grows your song writing ability allowing for better songs and sencond it gives you a larger pool of songs to choose from when doing shows.

3. rotate your songs at shows as much as possible. you can overplay them. to avoid this write lots of songs.

4. record and sell an album asap. the income boost is huge in the early goings. simply travel to the record label city and contact them then wait and do shows there until they respond.

5. rehearse your songs often. the higher the rehearsal ratings the better the recordings and your reviews will be. right now i basically camp out in recording stuido cities and rehearse and play shows until a better city with a studio unlocks. i rely on album sales to keep me going. pumping out albums will make up for any loss revenue you might incur from doing this. also your albums will be better by doing this.

6. buy promotions as much as you can afford. this is key to fan gain. they stack so you can buy multiple. just buy the cheapest with the most fan gain and get the other less efficient ones when you can afford it. i try and have them all out all the time. where im at now its not a problem as my albums earn me over 20k per day after release since my songs are high rated and well rehearsed.

7. the used car is the only vehicle you need for quite a while. simply break up your traveling by stopping at cities along the way and rest for a day then continue. after a while your band solidity will counteract any traveling woes and it wont be an issue at all. the money is better spent in promos.
