Sydney Voice Pack

Description
Adds Sydney Voice from Payday 2, it has a radio effect added

Video provides some samples used in-game, so you can get an idea how the character sounds like. "Control" lines are used as reference when moving since I found them hilarious refering to you as player, no tasers, cloakers etc... references were added or injured in the process of making this mod [not at all ;)]

+++Compatible with WOTC, it won't be available for heroes classes (templar, reaper, skirmisher since that will require update to WOTC making it not available for XCOM 2 users) I tested it with a friend, if the voice pack is not available for you in WOTC try using AML (Alternative Mod Launcher) it will solve all your problems+++

Around 518 voice lines are being used in this pack, as far as i know everything works fine if find any problem just let me know.

My thanks to Zuff and Storm Holder for the help.

I own nothing, this mod wouldn´t have been possible withouth Overkill work and the amazing Georgia Van Cuylenburg voice acting, as well as fireaxis and 2k

I think you misunderstood me, i did not mean anything in a bad way, quite the opposite ppl asking for things would incline me to do so, ofc if people does it from respect. Never in my life worked on mods and decided to make this because no one else wanted to do it at the time, sharing it was a nice way to give a little to the great community xcom has.

I will try check things tomorrow and see what can I do :D

So if you wanted to re-record the video you can, but don't feel obligated to just because some people in the comments mentioned it. Especially if it's going to be that out of your way at this point.

But yea, generally speaking voicepacks as mods age pretty well. There's very little that really ever changes or breaks with them. It's not like gameplay mod where once one comes out there's half a dozen authors trying to make a better version of it. So, you can probably expect more people to keep coming back to this mod until such a day comes that XCOM 2's player base becomes a ghost town... Which can be quite a while, given how retro gaming is a thing, and how modding now keeps games alive much longer than they used to last for.

I mean, the video being there or not is no skin off my teeth at this point, I already installed the mod so I'll be able to make my opinion about it once in-game. I'm more just making the suggestion cause I'm probably not the only one who looks for stuff like videos to make their decision on downloading a voicepack or not. And I'm not sure if you're the kind of mod author that even pays attention (or cares) about stuff like number of downloads or not.

Even if it 'did' bother me, that is really just my choice at the end of the day. You're under no obligation to do anything really. The modding community has actually developed a really bad habit of just constantly demanding more and more from mod authors and forgetting their human, so that's not at all what I'm trying to do.

@Gwazi Magnum Honestly I am amazed ppl still suscribe to such an old mod, the files were taken from the original files of payday 2 edited with radio effect still I believe I left original and radio edit I can't recall dude more than 4 years ago already.

I could record a video and make it now but I don't even have xcom installed anymore if it REEEEEALLLYYY bothers you well... maybe I can arrange something

*Typically* I don't even look at Voicepacks that lack a video/audio sample, figuring if the author cared so little about their mod to provide one, what does that tell me about the quality?

But in this case, it looks like it's just that YouTube screwed you over, so yea. Grabbing the mod to complete my payday set.

Though looking at the mod description, the video was more Payday recordings? I would suggest that if you replace the video for the mod, that it be of recordings made in-game. That element tends to be important because how the voice lines mesh through the in-game engine (or even in the middle of a firefight) can be just as important as the quality of the originating recordings.

Love the mod, love the voice lines. Cheers!
But I would be so uncouth as to request a version that replaces some of the lengthier/out-of-place lines (The biscuitmama one comes to mind). Although funny, it's tiresome to hear the same joke time and again.
Thanks again. Good job.
