Raptor Mk3 By; MizarLuke

The Raptor Mk3 is the third edition of the Raptor, a thrustercraft that I use in one of my adventures. This is the only steam powered variation. Many of the above images are from a battle in the designer consisting of the Raptor Mk3, my Battleship Mk8, several fighters and an ICBM. Upon request I will upload them as well.

The weaponry consists of mostly missiles and APS and 2 CRAMs.

12x EMP missiles, fixed forward facing
16x frag and explosive missiles, 8 per side, fixed
8x anti-shield EMP missiles, 4 per side, fixed
1x 6 barrel 150mm solid sabot APS, turreted
4x 6 barrel 100mm solid sabot APS, 2 per side, fixed
2x 1200mm CRAM, 10 second reload, turreted, 1 bow, 1 stern

Statistics and such

Fully armored in 1-2 layers of heavy armor and or metal (no wood or alloy)
full 360* enemy detection
2x munition detectors left, right, forward, backward
strength 3.5 shields, full shielding
8x downward-facing flares
completely player walkable (not too important in combat, but still)
25k material storage
repair tentacles and bots
24k ammo (240 boxes split between 2 areas, in front of front CRAM, behind back CRAM)
4x decoy ammo boxes at back
heartstone (slightly small, but there's plenty power)
between 8k and 12k power from single steam engine behind main APS
4,701 blocks, 10,135.21 mass, and 196,200 material cost

Movement and Control

59 map speed, 52.6 in play speed
naval AI for broadsiding (if you have a good LUA AI for this then please let me know)
PID control for altitude, pitch, and roll
altitude of 180
20 large and 4 small thrusters for lift
4 large thrusters for roll
2 large and 4 small thrusters for pitch
4 large and 8 small thrusters for yaw
7 large and 6 small thrusters for forward movement
