We already know that cats can jump well. (At least, compared to us humans.)


I mean, look at that. Amazing. He must've gone for 1/2 a foot before falling down!

But did you know that if you give a cat a controller, and mash the jump button for them while on the double jump scheme....... they'll keep jumping in mid air?

I know, I know, "But Vin-Vin, we already know that the cat can double jump, so what's special, my cat can do that! (I mean, he has to land first, but it's still not a big deal.....)" I'm not talking about double-jumping! Any normal platforming hero can double jump, I'm talking about an infinate jump!


That's right! I don't know any specifics behind it, but it seems like you can jump infinately! At least as long as you can keep your timing until the cat falls. This has a few uses, like knocking down boxes from high up in the air that seem unreachable otherwise, or even reach high platforms! But, well it's just kinda fun to infinately jump, I mean your a verified echidna with that kind of skil!

Just remember that just because you can jump infinitely, that doen't mean you should do it all of the time.

See, cats still take falling damage, so if you jump too high up into the air, it can kill you. And then you'll be a ghost kitty, and hile ghost kitties are kinda cute, they're nowhere near as cute as living kitties.

Apparently, something as simple as getting barked at by a big enough dog (I mean, Chiwawas are big enough, right?) can end up causing a cat to go through so much stress to cause them to lose a life. And they only have 7.


What's that? "But Vin-Vin, I thought-" I know you thought they had 9 lives, I mean I thought they had 9 lives, but apparently no, they only have 7. Well, either that, or Kimchi lost 2 of them already. Which is kind of sad to think about.

But it's okay, because even if Kimchi dies, he can levitate!


Okay, that's still pretty sad.

We all know that our fuzzy little feline friends don't just have fangs for looks, they're fierce predators! So what is it that they hunt? Well.... Kimchi doesn't really hunt for food.

Don't get me wrong, he fights, but........ let's just say that the mice it attacks can hurt it pretty badly. And by pretty badly, I mean that they can leach one of his lives with a simple paw swipe.This is probably because you play as a housecat, who's not attacked annother living creature before in it's life. But, even so, he's awesome!


Okay, Kimchi might have died to the giant raven, but that's just because I'm bad at platforming! My point of showing that pic was so that I can show this one!


"But Vin-Vin, where's the Raven? What did you do Vin-Vin......What did you do?!?" Well reader, I don't know how to tell you this, but that was no ordinary giant raven. See, normal giant ravens leave a corpse when they are killed, but this giant raven dissapeared in a puff of smoke.

You know what else is shown as dissapearing in puffs of smoke? Demons. Yup. I'm not sure if it's explained why they dissapear in puffs of smoke later on, but until I find out, I'm going to say that Kimchi is a demon hunter. I mean why else would freaking mice be able to instantly steal a life from it?

While all cats aren't demon hunters like Kimchi, the ones I met are still pretty awesome! (In the game I mean, not real life. My real life cats are still awesome though. <3) We have cats like Oscar, who lives in one of the least safe cities I've ever seen. I mean, Every flower pot falls off ot the buildings, and threatens to hit Kimchi on the head. And yup, you guessed it, every time one hits him, it causes a lethal concussion, making him lose a life.


Yes, Oscar is blind. And considering he's not (completely) dead yet, I can only assume that he's a freaking Ninja. Or catnip can make you invencible.


I'm going with the catnip theory myself.


Okay, even Kimchi doesn't have enough skill to paint, much less something legible and while blind, Oscar somehow did all 3. I'm starting to think that Oscar might be more talented then Kimchi the Slayer of Demons over here!

Ah Henri, how could I almost forget about you?


"Why must we go to them when they can come to us?" Indeed. This cat is just amazing, he spends his time in a graveyard, filled with rodents, a few dogs, and at least 1 giant raven, and nothing seems to screw with his brooding. I mean wow, that's a serrious depression, to even ward off wild animals that would try to eat you.

Cats are confusing and complex creatures. We are probably not any closer to understanding them then we were in the stone age. All we can do is cuddle them and try to make thier few days they have good ones. And try to not make any cats have to go through the terrifying experiance Kimchi the Demon Slayer had to go through. I'm sure everything worked out okay in the end, right?
