The Video Guide
I made this guide for Crysis: Warhead but since this works for Crysis too, I decided to post it here as well.

Two options:

1. Use the Crysis suit menu hotkey ("V" by default) plus a combination of numbers.
2. Or better yet, if you’ve a mouse with programmable buttons, use macros. This will allow you to assign each of the Crysis power suit functions to just one hotkey.

Here's the video guide; it's pretty straightforward:

There’s a third option but it involves enabling the “Suit Shortcuts” menu and a combination of double taps, which I really don’t like. Double tapping movement keys to enable a suit mode isn’t really my thing. I find it's just ridiculous having to double tap crouch to activate stealth. It's silly.

It’s a matter of preference though and if you’re interested in it, there’s a guide on YouTube for that by Stanley Setiawan.

yeah I got it now, if you don't wanna use any powers (but you're still gona consume it whatsoever) then you use the shield ability one, that one drains energy the least but still, on Crysis 2 things are a lot easier to maintain :B

But the powers don't stay on foreve---Ah wait I remember now! Activating strength or speed doesn't continually drain you of energy; only if you lift and throw something and run respectively. Just change to one of these. Or Armor. I think it's only stealth that continually drains you of energy.

There's no button in the first game for that lol

Hmm has been ages since I last played this game. What's the button to deactivate your active power in vanilla? You could always bind that as a macro using this guide.

but how do you disable your powers for energy consumption tho?
