Sacred Site of the Lady

Description
Lore
In Parravon, close to where the Grey Lady Pass cuts through the Grey Mountains, lies a sacred site of the Lady, hidden in a valley surounded by the mountains. The site is a destination for pilgrimmage, and is kept safe by grail knights and the guard of the local duke. The waters that burst from the cliffs brings unnatural life and prosperity with it. The Wood Elves being fully aware of the magical springs of life keeps watch over who enters and leaves the valley, unnoticed and hidden in the deep shadows of the cliffs.

A dark evil has been seen entering the Grey Lady Pass. Ranks upon ranks of black steel-clad warriors.

The map
The map supports up to 4vs4. If played pvp I advice that (at least) one defending player deploys at the forward deployment-zone, representing the guards of the fort. Playing with the AI, AI should deploy at the forward deployment-zone.

Fall from grace, a mini-campaign (1/2)
The mini-campaign involves two games against the AI. The first one is played at this map and the second one is played at the chaos-twisted version of the map called Defiled Site of the Lady. You need to have subscribed to both maps. You can find the chaos-version here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=877599642. There is nothing fancy going on, you simply play two custom games in a row on different maps, with certain rules aplied to tell a story.

The (recommended) rules you must follow are these:
1. First play a custom game on the map Sacred Site of the Lady.
2. 4vs4, funds large.
3. You are defending as Bretonnia. You must include the following: A mounted paladin, 2 units of battle pilgrims, a grail relique, 2 units of peasant bowmen, a unit of grail guardians, 2 field trebuchets. The rest is up to you. You are allowed to have more of the listed units, if you want to.
4. The 3 AI defenders should be 2 Bretonnians and 1 Wood Elf.
5. The enemy, the attacker, must be 3 Chaos Warriors, 1 Beastmen.
6. You must deploy at the deployment-zone located in the cliffs. Your lord, the grail guardians, the battle pilgrims and the grail relique must all be deployed within the chapel in front of the LotL - they are free to move out once the battle starts. The rest of your troops can be deployed anywhere within the same deployment-zone. Vanguarders can deploy freely.
7. Your AI-allies should, if I have set it up correctly, all deploy at the deployment-zone of the fort.
8. Have a great game :) As the defending AI-allies are outnumbered in the initial battle (as you are mainly at the chapel), you are in for a hard task. I recommend not rushing to aid them with all you have, but send only some units forward. It will create a battle, where the AI-attackers will eventually come for you at the chapel. You have a very advantagous position and will fight depleted troops, but you will be heavily outnumbered.
9. If you lost - don't worry. It was part of the narrative, now go play game two on the map called Defiled Site of the Lady. Rules for that game will be at the workshop-page of that map. If you won - well done. You are a better player than me, and have sucessfully repelled the chaos intrusion.

Other
I would love to hear how you fare in the mini-campaign. Of course you can use the map however you want, and twist the campaign rules to your liking.

If you want to include the map in a (workshop mod) campaign-map-pack, you are more than welcome to do so.

If you find any bugs, have any suggestions on how to improve the map, etc., please let me know. Feel free to write in the comments section.

I apologize, that English is not my native language, but I did my best :)

I have also made a map called Aurora, Norse Settlement, you can check it out here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=874079250

Ahh thank you. :D I will see if it works.

When I played Total Warhammer before I had adressed this issue to you, I noticed that that map had a wrench where the CA logo should be and there was no layout of the map.

Hi again. I have updated the map, and just played a custom battle against the AI on it without any problems. I hope it works for you now also

Hi. Thanks for letting me know. The map definately worked for a long time, but hasnt touched it for a while, as I moved on to TW:WH2. I will look at it a update during the next few days, possible port it to TW:WH2 as well.

I know it's this map's fault because I unsubscribed from it to find out if the games crashes without it, which it didn't.

Then I subscribed to this mod again, and then, as suspected, the game crashed. So it's this map's fault for sure.

So in conclusion, is this your fault? Have you not kept it up to date? Did it work to begin with?

Every time I subscribe to this one, whenever I try to get into ANY custom battle(even if it isn't this map that you made), the game crashes.
Have you made sure that this map is up to date? I do not think I have any mod compatibility issues.

So until I know that this one is fixed, I can only keep it on my favorites list but I will not subscribe to anything that will make the game crash just because I am trying to get into any custom battle whatsoever.
