Spray Patterns and General about Main Rifles
Spray patterns

Every weopon in CS:GO has a unique spray pattern, exept zeus-27, any knife, AWP, all pistols exept CZ-75 and all shotguns. The most important spray patterns are for M4A4 / M4A1-s and AK-47. these weopons are most commonly used on either T-side or CT-side. AK-47 gives approxiomentally 25-30 Damage at medium range (with enemy having armour equipped), for example from short to A site on the map Dust 2. M4A4 / M4A1-s both give from 20-25 at the same range as AK-47 (also with enemy having armour equipped). I highly reccomend learning these spray patterns by finding a wall, for example on A site with a graffiti spray "GOOSE" on Dust 2. Aim your crosshair at head height, dont move your mouse while pressing your button to shoot (Mouse 1). When you fire 30 bullets from AK-47 for example, you will see that every bullets land in a different position, which will look like 7 in a mirror image. To learn the pattern, you have to do the opposite of what you shot on the wall. When at the start the first 10 bullets travel up, you have to pull your mouse down at the right speed for all the bullets to land in one spot.

As you shoot more bullets, the less accurate your weopon will be. Imagine a circle small at the start and as you shoot, slowly increasing in size. This is how the weopons work in CS:GO. a good way to play for begginers is to tap your bullets (for AK-47, MA4 / M4A1-s) because it will be more accurate. For AK-47 you can shoot 4 bullets per second (every 0.25 of a second) and they will land on point. For M4A4 / M4A1-s you can only shoot 3 bullets per second (every 0.30 of a second)
Warmup before Competitive
Warmup

It is important to warmup before you come to Competitive mode so your aim is on point and you your movement is better than without any warmup. I reccomend "Deathmatch" and "Arms Race" because you play agains real players that are of mixed level, some Silver, some Gold Nova so you will possobly have some sort of chalenge there too. I also reccomend "Aim" servers in the "community Servers" because there are people from higher ranks with very good reflexes, however they do not spray often, but this is effective at medium range.
Competitive Matchamaking
Competitive mode

Competitive is a mode which you have to unlock by playing on neither "Deathmatch", "Arms Race", "Demolition" or "Casual". You have to be rank 2 to unlock Competitive.

In Competitive mode, there are 10 players, 5v5. You get put into a lobby with random people or friends if you qued together in "Play with friends". you play on the available maps you have chosen which are either "Bomb scenarios" or "Hostage scenarios".
For "Bomb scenarios", if you are a Terrorist, your objective is to plan the bomb on either A site or B site and protect it for 40 seconds for it to explode and win you the round. If you are a Counter-Terrorist, your objective is to defuse the bomb within 30 or 35 seconds (if you have a kit) to prevent the explosion and win the round for you.
For "Hostage scenario", if you are a Terrorist, your objective is to defend 2 hostages in two different locations, so that the Counter-Terrorists will not capture them. If you kill all the Counter-Terrorists, or the time will run out, you win the round. If you are a Counter-Terrorist, your objective is to capture and rescue the hostages by taking him from one of the locations or two of them and escorting the hostage to your CT-spwan.
Ranking
Ranking

CS:GO is based on a ranking system, going from Silver 1 to Global elite.
-Silver 1
-Silver 2
-Silver 3
-Silver 4
-Silver Elite
-Silver Elite Master
-Gold Nova 1
-Gold Nova 2
-Gold Nova 3
-Gold Nova Master
-Master Guardian 1
-Master Guardian 2
-Master Guardian Elite
-Distinguished Master Guardian
-Legendary Eagle
-Legendary Eagle Master
-Supreme Master First Class
-Global Elite
-Total of 19 different ranks.

If you win 5 Competitive games in a row, you get promoted to higher Rank. If you abandon the Competitive mode while in game, you increase the chance of getting demoted.
Weopons and Economy
Weopons nad Economy

As you start on T-side, you get a 200$ pistol Glock-18, which is good in my opinionon in pistol rounds because its accurate at medium range (from B-car to B site boxes), and you can also spam it at half the range as said above. Glock is more effective at short range, because USP-s is a one tap head shot pistol with pour penetration, whis has only 12 bullets (or P2000 with 13 bullets).
As you are on CT-side, you also get a 200$ pistol which is USP-s or P2000 (whichever is best for you) Both are 1 shot head shot pistols at any range for enemies without a helmet. It is also a good pistol for pistol rounds because if you are a more skilled player, that is accurate, you can take out your enemies with headshots.

T-side is better Economy and Weopon wise because on T-side you have AK-47, a one shot head shot weopon which can also penetrate the helmet with no trouble. on T-side you do not have to buy a Defuse kit (or Rescue kit) and AK-47 (2700$) is 400$ cheaper than M4A4 / M4A1-s (3100$). The sg 553 is worth 3000$ which is a T-side weopon and AUG, CT-side weopon is worth 3300$.
CT-side is more expensive because it is advisable to buy a defuse kit which costs 400$ (but its not necessary) and the main Assult rifle, M4A4 / M4A1-s is 400$ more expensive than AK-47 (2700$).

CT economy
Round lost #1 - 1400$
Round lost #2 - 1900$
Round lost #3 - 2400$
Round lost #4 - 2900$
Round lost #5 - 3400$

Round win - 3250$
Round win with bomb defusal - 3500$
Bomb defusal (individual) - 300$

T economy
Round lost #1 - 1400$ +800$ if bomb planted (2200$)
Round lost #2 - 1900$ +800$ if bomb planted (2700$)
Round lost #3 - 2400$ +800$ if bomb planted (3200$)
Round lost #4 - 2900$ +800$ if bomb planted (3700$)
Round lost #5 - 3400$ +800$ if bomb planted (4200$)
Out of time (individual) - 0$

Round win - 3250$
Round win with bomb detonated - 3500$
Bomb plant (individual) - 300$
Maps
Maps

Most of the maps in CS:GO are old, like "Inferno", "Italy" or "Train", but "Dust 2" is the most popular map in CS:GO history.
I would reccomend to learn to play on "Dust 2" because its an easy map, then when you get experience, step up with the maps and learn to play on "Mirage", "Inferno" and "Cache" up to more complex maps such as "Nuke".
One thing you have to do in order to have great communication in your team is learn all the callouts (different places on the map are called different names ( such as long for example, from T-spawn to A site, you have to go through "Outside Long", "Double door", "A Long", "A Ramp" in order to get to "A site" ))
Grenades
Grenades

Grenades are very important in CS:GO. if you watch any game by proffessional players, you will always see them smoking, flashing of many places to have an advantage of the gameplay.
There are alot of videos on YouTube showing many various flashes, smokes, mollotoves / incendary grenades, so I highly reccomend learning the most basic ones for each map because they are extremely helpful.
I always buy 2 flashes, 1 smoke and 1 grenade in Competitive because i can for example smoke off CT to pass to A site on "Dust 2", flash and grenade short if there are any enemies and use a flash for long if there is a sniper to delay him, this is just a basic i use sometimes, because there are many different game continuations, strategies and plans.
Bans and VAC-Bans
Bans and VAC-Bans

You can get Bans for the following reasons :
-Abandoning a competitive match
-Friendly Fire
-Kicking too many players in recent games (I know right....)
-Getting kicked too often from Competitive matches (Another fair ban....)
-Griefing
-AFK-ing

You can get VAC-Bans for the following reasons :
-Aim / Wall hacking
-Other hacking eg Bhop scripts
-2 Grief bans

Levels of Bans

lv 1 - 30 Minutes cooldown
lv 2 - 2 Hours cooldown
lv 3 - 24 Hours cooldown
lv 4 - 1 Week cooldown

I quit CSGO for a while now. I thought I'd jump back in again and actually rank up. Idk of the decreased xp multiplier is still there though.
