Shaggy's Bretonnian Infantry

Description
Adds a shielded variant of the Foot Squire unit, heavily armored and shielded but lacking offensive power these units can be expect to hold the line. Also adds a mixture of helmets to the Foot Squires and Questing Knights. Made for my own personal use, figured I would share it. Enjoy!

Update: Added a Foot Squire Halberdier unit. Same stats as the existing Bretonnian Halberdiers, but with more than double the armor. Shielded Foot Squires now have a mixture of maces (40%).

Please update your mod and bring it over to mortal empires I beg you... can't play it until then :)

Yes, but i have no desire to do so. But it's done easily enough with the pack file manager, open up the 'main_units_tables' table, scroll over to the 'num_men' entry and entire the desired value

Would it be possible to make this compatible with bigger unit sizes?

neat idea.

Maybe, but I'm not adding anymore units until i get some unit cards for the 2 that I've already made. The unit list has become a bit confusing now :P I may also remove all the foot squires from the 'peasant economy' and set up a system like the one that is in the 'reiksguard expanded' mod. That is, you start with a unit cap on all foot squire units, lets say 2. This can be expanded by constructing some sort of new building, which will dynamically increase the unit cap. I think it would be a fun new mechanic, force you to make some difficult choices with regards to buildings and planning out your economy.

that'd be neat. the current dismounted knights mods are a lot weaker than foot squires.

You could do it like medieval 2 where they have dismounted knights

Huuuuh, a crazy lot of mods... I'm probably not qualified and i actually have a lot of new conflicts with the Bretonnia patch

I'm not sure what could be causing the CTD then. What other mods are you guys running?
