Dynamic Clan Tag for CS:GO
By grape
In this guide I will show you how to create a dynamic clan tag which you can display in game. This will appear in the kill feeds, on the scoreboard, and when your teammates are spectating you!

How Dynamic Tags Work
Dynamic clan tags are group id's that are displayed when given a command to. When you set your tag up, you will be creating binds from your in-game console that will constantly send commands to display the group id set to the key you have pressed.

WARNING: This guide is a few years old. Since then, some community servers have added anti-spam features where a rapid sequence of commands shown in this guide could get you disconnected temporarily.
Where You'll See it
When you have finished your tag it will be displayed in a variety of places. These areas include, the scoreboard, the kill feed, whilst a teammate spectates you, and when you are being viewed by a living teammate. However, it will not appear on the player list.
Creating Your Tag
Your tag is fully customizable. You have the ability to change the number of tags displayed, when they are displayed, and what they say. The most common and easiest dynamic tag to use is one that you can bind to your movement keys (WASD). Meaning that when you move left you could choose to have your tag say "Left" or "Moving Left." or you could bind all of your movement keys to say "Moving." However, there are people who enjoy more elaborate tags that can show their teammates (and enemies) when they are reloading or crouching. The commands for each key are below.

Movement Keys:
bind "w" "+forward;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";
bind "a" "+moveleft;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";
bind "d" "+moveright;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";
bind "s" "+back;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";

Advanced Movement Keys (DEFUALT KEYS):
Walking - bind "shift" "+speed;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]
Crouching - bind "ctrl" "+duck;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]
You can add "_t" (without quotation marks) next to the initial commands to toggle either one of these actions.

Miscellaneous:
Reloading - bind "r" "+reload;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";
Talking - bind "t" "+voicerecord;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]";
Jumping - bind "space" "+jump;cl_clanid [Group ID Here]"

Now that you have the commands you need the group id's so that CS:GO knows what to display.
You can find these groups through the steam community. For example, the groups Wallhack, Aimlock, Bunnyhop, and Aimbot. You must join these groups for the effect to take place.

bind "w" "+forward;cl_clanid 10088900";
bind "a" "+moveleft;cl_clanid 10088895";
bind "d" "+moveright;cl_clanid 10109772";
bind "s" "+back;cl_clanid 10088936";

To remove your tag Unbind "w" and repeat this for the A,S and D keys as well. Now enter the following commands one at a time.

bind "w" "+forward"
bind "a" "+moveleft"
bind "d" "+moveright"
bind "s" "+back"
Finding Group ID's
It has been brought to my attention by a user known as "s" that you can type "cl_clandid" after selecting your desired group in Settings > Game > Team > Clan Tag and then copy the id as seen in console.

E.g. <"cl_clanid" = "32234161" ( def. "0" ) archive user - Current clan ID for name decoration>

Below is an alternative:

If you are looking for the ID of a group you DO NOT own, check the description of the group or past announcements. Groups that were created for the sole purpose of dynamic tags will have their group ID's in the group's description like so.
Not all groups keep their ID in the group description, if that is the case you can put this URL into your browser https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/counterscam/memberslistxml/?xml=1
Be sure to replace counterscam with the name of the steam group you wish to use in your tag. Make sure that you spell it correctly or it will not work! Doing this pulls up all information about the group including members lists and avatars. When you enter it into your browser the group ID should be near the top. I used my Steam group Counter-Scam as an example.
If you still cannot find it using these methods ask an officer or administrator for it!

If you are looking for the ID of a group you DO own. Go to your profile > Groups > Find your group and select "Visit Admin Page." At the very top of your groups information will be your group ID.
Now put your ID's where required into the commands above. Your dynamic tag is nearly done!

Displaying Your Tag
The final step of this process is to put your commands with the group ID's one by one into your console in-game. Now your done! Enjoy your new tag and answering the question "How'd you get your tag to move like that?"
