Hello everyone, and welcome to my first guide !
For almost 3 years, I've been playing TF2 and I saw the community go up and down. And that is mainly because of the 'species' of players roaming around.

Now, I am adressing myself to people who are pherhaps new, or want to learn more about player types ('species').

TF2 is a wonderful game. Some people can and some can not see the meaning of this game, but it's all basically a 'chill-out' game.
You have a lot of gamemodes to choose from appart from casual, including deathrun, jailbreak, freak fortress, slender fortress, halloween and A LOT more. But you see, this game is mainly multiplayer, and it's not called TEAM Fortess 2 for no reason. It is all about teamwork, although it is true, you can play alone. So, wouldn't you like to learn more about player types ?
Some players are actually serious, and dedicated casual players, so they would not fit in any species.

Similarly to StealthyGlaceon's Steam Guides about 'Wild Wonders', this thread will discuss about as player stereotypes and 'species' I could find. I promise to make a more in-depth guide with actually as many species I could find, including all from StealthyGlaceon's guides and I promise I will do more research. Unfortunately, it is A LOT of work and will require a lot of care before it will be finished. This guide was not so popular to the others, which is quite disappointing, but for a first guide, I must say it's a pretty okay guide. So I will assure you will see the in-depth guide after the Wrestlemania 33 Pay-per-view. If not, then I will upload a video on YouTube shaving my head clean ( ͡° ‿ʖ ͡°).

Let's start off with the first and probably most common player in all TF2:
The Gibus (Mainly Free To Plays)
It is a very big sterotype. People associate the Gibus with being a 'noob' (bad player) and new/F2P players. Although people have arguments against this stereotype, such as they do not want to waste money on pixels, trust me, it's all about skill.
To get a Gibus, you have to kill a player that wears a Gibus. Pretty easy right ? The Gibus has 2 main sub-classes
-The Gibus Sniper

Wow, this guy is a very hard player to deal with. I mean, most of them can't shoot at all... But they are strong together, and believe that at one point they will have an unusual and will ride on the rival team's dead bodies. Mainly found in 2Fort
-The Gibus Engineer

G.E.W.P (Gibus Engineer Wildlife Protection) is one of the most known groups in TF2. They protect friendlies, and keep tryhards away. (Usually, lol). Lately though, they lost power, and everything goes bad for them *sniff,sniff* and for *sniff,sniff* friendlies *cries*

Now, that we're done, let's move on to the 2nd most common species
The Tryhard

I hate tryhards just as much as the next guy, trust me. All they ever do during their lives is attack, kill, destroy, sap, backstab, burn, ANYTHING THAT CAUSES DAMAGE. You see, Tryhards are a big deal. They are called tryhards because they are trying so hard (to be at the top of the leaderboard) and would do ANYTHING ! They would even kill friendlies (I'll explain further down in this guide what a friendly is). They are the main reason pootisbirds and hoovies get extinct. Any almost extinct specie is high likely to be extinct if we don't do something about these guys.

To new players reading this, please stop trying your best to win. This game is a hat simulator, not only a team work game, and people are trying to have fun in multiple ways. If you don't, somebody will, and you have to try and stop that somebody. Thanks for reading.

Some notice-able tryhards could be:
-The Terrorist Demo
-The Anti-Fun Engineer
-The Insane Engineer
-W+M1 Pyro
-Airblast Pyro
-Battle Medic

Main friendlies:
-Pootis Bird

It is mainly a heavy wearing a chicken kiev who mostly throws sandwiches and dalokohs or any other consumable products they could find around
-Hoovies

Same, they both crouch, it's just the hoovies don't have chicken kievs. O' well, pootisbirds and hoovies are very related twins !
-The Spycrab

The spycrab is an endangered specie. Born from a glitch, most people are confused about what they're doing and would just kill them (DAMN YOU, TRYHARDS). I feel sad for them
-Boxtrot Spies

You know, they wouldn't go boxtrot for no reason, they want to have fun, but do not always believe that - they can be semi-Trojan horses. They could just stop taunting, crouch (pretend they're friendly) and kill you and your team :(

Sub-main friendlies:
-Rancho Relaxo (Engineers)

Just one goal in life : be lazy. They won't usually attack you... At least not for no reason
-The Confused People

Just like in StaceyGlaceon's guide, they are confused people that just wonder around maps, maybe because they are new and want to explore more. They are usually innocent, but like any other new player, they can attack to defend themselves
