I must add this information, I would highly suggest ensuring that XNA Framework and NET Framework are properly installed, you can get them Here [www.microsoft.com]

Also make sure Direct X[support.microsoft.com] is up to date.

Ensure that your Graphics card drivers are up to date, that's an Important step to any trouble shooting issue.


"You may need to update your DirectX or the Steam DirectX checker isn't triggering properly for some reason." I heavily suggest checking this


Two of these were gotten from This Thread Namely, the ones in Quotation marks. Ensure to follow those too.

Verification of game cache can be the most effective (or one of the) ways to fix your games, this will apply to any and all games, not just Shellshock live.




List of issues it May fix

• Pink boxes/ squares over Everything
  
• Extremely low quality textures/FPS
  
• Crash to desktops (CTD)
  
• "error lobby 53,54,56 failed to create lobby"
  
• Spinning aim
  
• Random "Round skips" (I.e, one minute you are in the round, the second it is the enemies turn and you take tons of damage in a short time)

Generally one of the most under-looked Ways to fix a game, this is also one of the most effective ways to fix a game. Here are some other ways you can fix your game.




This time, you are looking at "Uninstall game... or "Browse local files".

If you have any FPS fixes, This is the place to check!

A bit of an update here.
It appears that shellshock runs at 1.2 GB of ram [Tested thus far twice.] And this could potentially be the cause for some FPS.
I'd suggest reporting back to this guide with your RAM usage from ShellShockLive.exe ONLY
If it exceeds 1.0 GB of Usage, Then we can confirm this as a reason for low FPS. ONLY on weaker computers however.
If you exceed atleast 8 GB of ram, Please check still; But this could be the trace back for something much bigger.




This is all you are looking for on task manager, Processes, Then find ShellShockLive.exe (I found It's name) And set it to a higher priority.
