The achievements do unlock within the game's achievements showcase, but for them to register in steam you have to exit the game, wait for them to pop up and then they show up on your steam profile.


The in-game achievements showcase (completed)

Very basic game keys,
← → to go left and right around the tube
↑ to jump over an obstacle

there is only one obstacle worth jumping over, the rest you should be able to navigate around or in between.
You have to start 100 games in order to get the "100 games" achievement, so take your time learning the ropes, it will be a few hours before you get this achievement anyway so might as well take it slow and learn the simple patterns of the game.

I tried to change the color of the tube, and the color of the ball, thinking it will help me see the obstacles better and get to this high score sooner. But it didn't.
After over 70 games (yes...) I went into options and changed the sensitivity from high to low on the bar, and it was smooth sailing from there. By game #80 I got the achievement done.

The settings I used




Getting the achievement:
Try to stay in the center of the tube and return to it after going over or around an obstacle. It will make it easier to deal with the ones coming your way.

The only obstacle worth jumping over is this one in the picture below

Align yourself to the spike that faces either the top left or top right corner and jump over it. Make sure to quickly align yourself back into the center of the tube.

The higher your score, the faster your game becomes. So DON'T look at your score. Focus on the game and adjust to the speed as it increases.

Virus
Catch slow 25 times!



100 games
Play and die 100 times


If you haven't gotten these achievements while going for "Total disaster!" (score over 180 points), then now is the time to relax and play again and again until you have collected 25 viruses and died 100 times. These achievements are easy but can be grindy so just sit back and play until you unlock them. It really shouldn't take too long as each game can last as little as 20 seconds (to die) and as much as 2-3 minutes to try and catch viruses before the speed becomes too fast.

That's it. Super fast and relaxed once you know how to make the game go smoother and the grind isn't so bad.
