I don't know how to make it a patch because I think it works as a standalone mod. But I've already managed to make the tattoo visible, which is what I wanted. Thanks a lot!
I made some errors in the video such as not ending the file links in the editor with .dds. Also make sure that you place the textures you use in the mods own folder. Also that you generate mip maps when you save.
But I'm new to this mod thing. I'm following your tutorial, I've done everything as in the video but when I start a game with the tattoo as a "shirt" the body comes out black except for the face, then I take off the shirt and put it back on and it looks good now but no trace of the tattoo. What is it due to? I'm sorry, I've tried to fix it but I can't do it. could you help me??
I used paint.net because it's free! But any program that lets you open or save .dds files should be fine.
It might also be a good idea to back up any vanilla files you will use as your templates such as the leather armour or banner ones i used.
