Kingdom Death: Monster (KDM) Plain Jane Edition

Description
Yet another KDM Mod....

This edition is merely a thought experiment gone awry.

No scripts. No conveniences (aside from tablets). Assets are as in-line with reality counterparts as possible.

Experience KDM, the frustrating, cooperative, clerk-work bookkeeping simulation rpg as it was meant to be played.

All this IP is owned fully by a certain Adam Poots (and/or) his company.

I'm just a madman.

And as for 1.5; I just don't know enough about the changes/components in 1.5 to bother with that. If someone made a bag of 1.5 only stuff, i'd be willing to at least place it in this mod.

Had not planned on supporting this version at all. With recent loss of some asset files, I restored the files that I could; it should be functional now. Added priority target, principle cards that some noted was missing. Added a scripted custom settlement sheet I did in my scripted mod -- not sure how functional it is right now. Added some minor decor; this is a viable version to use if you want to avoid scripts; if you want scripts, I'd suggest checking out misterslack's version or the various versions that forked from my old scripted version (achromatic).

Any chance you plan on updating to 1.5? Pretty please?

Love it! As a newcomer to both TTS and Kingdom Death, I vastly prefer this non-automated version for learning to play the actual game. Really helps the learning process to manually get out each deck and component, learn where it goes, etc.
My only complaints so far are that the settlement sheet isn't interactive like the character sheets are, and there seems to be a few missing odds and ends (or I'm a dummy and just not looking in the right place). Can't seem to find the Principles cards, or the Priority Target or Re-roll tokens. I've just been pulling those in from other KDM versions here on the workshop, so no big deal. Just an observation.
I see the previous update was awhile ago, so I'm not expecting any more improvements. I just hope someone does a "plain" implementation of the newer versions of KDM!

odd. for putting it back in box, to ensure it is going in the right box, right using the right click/search function on the boxes(bags). then drag the deck into the window. a long time ago, i remember an issue that I called 'schrodinger's decks' -- where certain decks appeared to exist in a box/bag but when dragging them out, nothing appears; this almost sounds like what you're describing.

I thought they fixed this bug a long time ago and I never figured out what fully caused it. When you insert a deck back into the boxes, try ensuring that no text is typed into the search filter for the search window. Other than that, when/if it happens, just replace deck from a vanilla save. I know it is a pain, but I don't think it is something related to this save or its components -- at least that I could ever figure out.

We've beren noticing an issue where decks will disappear after putting them back into the box and attempting to take them back out.

IE. pull out Lion loot, take out a card, put it back in the box, later attempt to pull out loot cards again, the deck disappears.

Thank you so much! I'm tired of those awful scripted mods for KDM that barely work and don't even have decent tutorials.

And questions often get ignored. Just a plain classic table, that's exactly what I wanted.

So i love this... thanks! I am new to Tabletop Simulator, KDM and tabletop gaming in general so honestly this super simple old school version is perfect. The scripted ones were too hard for me to figure out while also trying to learn the game by following the core rulebook.

I do have one question that maybe someone will see this and know the answer to ;) I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use the Settlement Sheets. I tried drawing on them but that doesn't seem to work. I grabbed the one from your scripted mod but it's not the same and is missing some things and I would like to stay true to the original while learning everything.

Any help is appreciated. For now I have a lot of notecards floating around my settlements sheets lol.
