This hand will be seen in artillery biomechanoid and on 3rd person mode

You could probably import the hand model into the gauss cannon and just save the entire thing as one model. I'm no expert but I don't see why it couldn't be done.

I think the model looks really good and it makes up for the handle without the hand, great job!!!

In Doom there is a hand on the handle. Just add a hand there and it will look good;)
