I personally think that Audacity is better than most applications out there, this one has audio editing as well as plenty of file types to export as, so if you want to use this tutorial, I would reccomend getting this if you haven't already.

Regardless of whatever sound file you have, whether it be a .wav .mp3 or .flacc, audacity will be able to read it and manipulate it all the same. First, you will need to open up the folder that was installed from audacity.



Open audacity and either import audio or open file, eitherway will allow you to access the song you plan to use.


Once you have the song imported, simply export it and make sure you make it so when it exports, it exports as a "Ogg Vorbis" file like in the picture below. You may also raise the quality of the audio while exporting it, however this will take more time to do.



Congrats! You have just made a ogg file, now go off and make some maps!
