Summary
=======================

A new version of rp_stalker arrives with a version that requires only Counter-Strike: Source. With the workshop addon size at a whopping ~12 megabytes, all you need to play is Counter-Strike: Source, and this map downloaded.

The goal was to replace every custom model/texture/etc. with similar looking models/textures/etc found within Half Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source.

After four months of hard work and sweat. I am proud to present an easy way to play the beloved rp_stalker map without needing to download Half-Life: Episode 2.

List of Changes
=======================

Re-textured from the ground up, the map provides many map changes as well as other beneficiaries such as graphical improvements.

1. Trees have been overhauled and they have been replaced with dark, creepy, and theme-fitting trees that actually make the map look like an apocalyptic wasteland. Go see for yourself in the gallery.

2. In order to provide the addition of the hundreds of trees added into the map, I have overgone a optimization process that has eliminated ~5000 textures (an actual rounded number) which means, there is ~5000 less textures for your computer to draw which provides performance improvements.

3. Every single non Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source texture has been replaced with either a Half-Life 2 texture, or a Counter-Strike: Source texture. Each texture has been hand picked to fit the theme and mood for the map without the need of sacrificing the quality of the map.

4. New areas and spots on the map have arrived such as The Parking Lot! Certain areas also got a new feeling of quarantine such as the main town.

5. The download size is gigabytes smaller compared to the other rp_stalker maps. You would need Half-Life 2:Episode 2 textures, custom models, the map itself, etc. For this map however, all you need is Counter-Strike: Source and this map in order to fully enjoy the experience of what rp_stalker_new / rp_stalker has to offer.

I take credit in the changes that I have committed as stated above. I did not create this map, I just performed massive changes based off of rp_stalker_new to the way that I thought was necessary.
