This game is written in GameMaker Studio. It sure allows developers to change the resolution, but for some reason this particular developer picked 1200x900 as the default and the only option to play. This may really bother you if you have 1366x768 display, or just want a smaller (or bigger) window to play in.

So what do you do?

First of all, unpack the WishMaster.exe as explained in this guide.

If you're really curious, data.win file contains height and width values at offsets 0x4C and 0x50, so you can open it up in hex editor and change it manually to whatever you want, but I made you a tool. Download it (remove spaces):

Place it in your WishMaster folder where your data.win file is located.

Launch the tool, you'll see this:



Replace 640 and 480 with the number you'd like to see there.

Press Patch button.

It will throw you a happy message, claiming the game will launch now.

It will launch indeed! Can you believe it?
