Three Civics Start

Description
Three Civics Start
for Stellaris v3.5.*

While I appreciate the idea of government's evolution over time, it always irritated me that at some point game forces player to improve their government. Not in a good way. We are past the era of "Advanced Governments" when empires would be forcefully renamed, screwing custom titles. Still game doesn't provide any alternatives to the government reform once you research "Galactic Administration" and get a third civic point.

No more! With this mod you start with 3 civic points and there is no more additional civic points to gain via "Galactic Administration" research.

Compatibility
This mod overwrites one define (GOVERNMENT_CIVIC_POINTS_BASE) and replaces "Galactic Administration" technology with a version without civic point gain.
All patching is done via mod's own files.

It shouldn't cause any issues with other mods that do not touch that define or alter that one particular technology.

I don't understand how this is the only mod for such a critical oversight in my opinion.
Is this still compatible?

I finally got some time to take a look at this mod. There were a couple of minor changes but nothing critical. Updated for Stellaris v3.5 now :nepnep:

Any chance for an update?

@Råb!d
yeah, AI should be able to reform their government and use the free civic slot. However it may take them quite some time to do so :elindustry:

I like it,, nice job!

Question: If I leave one of the three civic slots empty, for empires that I don't mind them changing, will they be able to do so?

I have the same irritation with the ability for the ai empires to change so radically. Ugh!!

I'll give this a try. :)

@badatthis
Sorry, I didn't notice the question. But if you are still wondering - yes, it does affect randomly generated races.

Quick question though. Does this affect randomly generated AI races?

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.

Finally a mod that only increases it by a small amount. Awesome.
