1. Basics
1.1 Looting
  • When you spawn always prioritize weapons and meds.
  • If you find shields and grenades save them, they are very important for late game.
  • Ammo management is also important, always check if you have extra ammo.
  • If you spawn in a tent I wouldn't suggest to go towards cities, it's very likely you will get killed from the houses because a lot of people spawn there. Try to advance with the circle and loot other tents or people you managed to kill.
  • If you did spawn in a city loot nearest house or two and find a good spot to chill. Wait a bit , look around for other people, listen for shooting sounds etc. You can also try to run away from the city but that might be difficult and dangerous. If people ran past your house only shoot them if you are completely sure you can get them as you might get killed. Sometimes it's more important to stay alive than to get kills.

1.2 Guns

1.2.1 Gun list :
  • Snipers
  • Rifles
  • SMGs
  • Shotguns
  • Pistols
  • LMG & RPG
What to choose :
  • Of course it comes to personal preference which gun to use but of course the Snipers deal the biggest damage, but they are hard to find and are usually only found in air drops. You will mostly use rifles and SMGs as pistols and shotguns aren't very good but can be useful if you don't have anything else.
  • Snipers : ARS ; AAR ; DECIMATOR ;

  • Rifles (better version) : AK12S (AGGRESSOR) ; Thor- 5 (VALKYRIE) ; MS4 (KRAKEN) ; WOLFSTROM (SINDAL'S WULFSABRE) ; ACX-10 (LORD DEIMOS) ; MX25 (CRYPT KEEPER) ;

  • SMGs (better version) : CF-10; KRIS ; ELX-3 (ARATIX) ; BIZON (BULLETSTORM) ;

  • Shotguns (better version) : SP12 (CHOMPER) ; M1216;

  • Pistols (better version) : PINWHEEL ; MP45 (CONTENDER); HSE (ZARFELT) ; CR-IZU;

  • LMGs & RPG :CORPSE GRINDER; NG100 ; RPG7 ;

  • My personal preference is AK12S,ACX-10, WOLFSTROM for rifles. KRIS and ELX-3 for SMGs . Also different guns have different recoil so you will have to learn them if you want fast kills. All "Auto" guns can be change to single-fire by pressing "X" on your keyboard (by default)

1.2.2 Attachments :
  • Scopes : ACOG; Medium range scope ; Holographic; M4S;
  • Grips : Distance grip ; AG distance grip;
  • Magazines (bullet amount) : X25 Accuracy(15) ; X20 Accuracy (20) ; Extended magazine (60) ; C-Mag (100) ; SMG-45 ; SMG-60;
  • Barrels : Muzzle ; Compensator;

  • Attachments may also differ for different people but I think ACOG is the best scope and of course use the extended magazines if possible as you will have more bullets before reloading. Use muzzle for 1 single-fire weapons and compensator for spraying ("Auto") . There's also side rails that I didn't add here because as of now there's only laserguard which seems worthless at given time.

1.3 Moving & Positioning

  • There's a lot of free will here as there are a lot of ways to move around the map. You can stay at the corners of the circle and move inwards as the line comes inwards. Some people like to predict where the circle will end and go there mid-game and camp there. It really depends on the situation and where you spawn. Sometimes it's a good idea to hang back and let other do the job for you but watchout because this tactic is quite dangerous and can get you killed. When moving try to get from cover to cover (trees , rocks) . Don't hide in bushes and they might not render from longer distances and you will be a free kill for others. Exploit the third person view when scouting from trees or rocks. Tents might be an option too, they are impenetrable so people can't shoot through. Of course big opening in tents can be shot through.

  • Lootcrates or aidrops are high risk , high reward. If you manage to get them there might be a sniper or better versions of other guns which will benefit you anyway. The airdrops always spawn in same places so if you play long enough you will know the patterns. As the lootcrates are showed on the map a lot of people go for them so watch out, you should be very careful and alerted at all times. Go for them at your own risk. Good luck!

  • In my opinion there's no one good tactic, you should always adapt to the situation and think what is best to you, maybe you need more loot so there's no point to go to the middle and wait. As I said it's a personal preference and changes based on the situation.

1.4 Clothing

  • There's not much to say here but I would suggest to avoid colorful clothes. Bright colors make you really visible so pick something with earth tone , brown,dark green etc. It might help you to blend in when hiding behind trees and save your life, even though it just clothes it's also a part of the game.
2. Late Game Tips
2.1 Shields
  • Shields are very important part of gunfights. Especially if the circle get small and there's nowhere to hide. There are two types of shields : Wooden and Metal. Metal is of course stronger ones that have more health. Always remember that shields can be destroyed by grenades and bullets, if you're getting shot play atleast two wooden shields in front of you to stay safe if one of the shields brake. If possible hold you metal shields for the end game when there's less than 10 players left and the circle is really small.

  • My personal preference is to put shield in my 4 slot and put extra shields above that slot so it's fast to change if needed.

2.2 Grenades
  • Grenades are also very important late game. It's very useful to blow the shields up when someone has a lot of them stacked around themselves. Incendiary grenades are especially good to flush out someone who is hiding behind tree/shield/rock and you can grab an easy kill. So if you find any grenades don't ignore them, they are a big part of late game.

  • My personal preference is to put shield in my 5 slot and put other grenades above that slot so it's fast to change if needed.

2.3 Meds
  • There are three types of meds (Health restored) : Military Med Kit (75%) ; Regular Med Kit (50%) ; Painkillers(25%). After you use one of these your health will be restored instantly but you will have to wait some time to use it again. It takes more time the bigger health chunk you want to heal, so you can use painkillers faster etc. I would suggest to put your best meds in 3 slot and be ready to press it any time you get in a gun fight, as it heals you instantly it can really change the outcome of that fight.

2.4 Movement
  • Moving in the end might also be a difficult task as the circle is small and usually everybody can see eachother. Try to move to the circle when somebody else is shooting so they attention is elsewhere. If you start to get hit place shield in front of you and heal up. If you're playing duos you can try to run separate so your friend cover you if needed. And remember , zigzag if you get shot from the back it will be much harder to hit you. It's harder to avoid bullets from the sides though.

Last words
  • All in all ,there's a lot of factors that determine who will win, but sometimes you have to go against the odds and push through. Even if you spawn in , find bad guns it's not game over. I've had some games where you think you won't get far because you spawned in a bad location but it turns out to be your best game. Keep your eyes focused and ears widely open. Good luck , hope this guide help you if you're new or already experienced player. If you have any suggestions or I forgot to mention something please leave a comment and don't forget to rate this guide. Hope this guide helps you to become The Last Man Standing.
