Randomised British Isles Map [R&F Compatible]

Description
A map with coastline shaped like the British Isles but randomised terrain, features and resources in the interior.

The generator is weighted to approximate the climate and geography of the real British Isles, colder and hillier in the north, warmer and flatter in the south, and with moutain ranges round about where the Scottish Highlands, Pennines and Snowdonia should be.

Does not require any DLC or other mods.

- 3 map sizes:
Tiny (40x49), Small (50x61), and Standard (60x73).

- Customisable options:
Amount of forest, marsh and cliffs can be set independantly in the Advanced Setup screen.

- Regional True Starts:
Civs who historically held territory in the British Isles will start in those approximate regions. For the sake of variety this will not be the same plot each game, but a random plot somewhere within the appropriate region.

Civs added by other mods should also get placed appropriately so long as they're named after a region of the British Isles (e.g. Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Cornwall, Northumbria, Mercia, Wessex) or a historical British tribe (Saxons, Celts, Picts, Gaels).

True starts can be turned off in the Advanced Sertup manu if you prefer an all-random placement.

- Regional Wonder Placement:
Cliffs of Dover and Giant's Causeway (if you own the Vikings DLC) will appear somewhere in the south of England and north of Ireland, respectively.

These two wonders should always spawn if the true wonders option is enabled. Other wonders will be placed randomly.

- Max players:
A custom method for placing start locations means this map supports up to 20 players on Tiny size, 25 on Small and 30 players on Standard size. (including city states)

Start locations will be spread evenly across the map, but ignore the usual starting biases civs have toward certain terrains/resources.

- Alternate Download:
Can also be downloaded from Civfanatics.[forums.civfanatics.com]

@AlbaHibernia If Northern Ireland is not British then that must make the ROI government full of shit as they sign a treaty recognising N.Ireland as separate and British, funny that eh?

Ireland is part of the British Isles. You do realize it's a geographic term? You can't change that..

@Baldwick You're not Scottish you're Irish.

@Baldwick Carrick Fergus and Edinburgh. Bolt Ulster Scots isn't a nationality or language i can say that as a Scot. You're just a bunch of colonists.

You won't be British for much longer, and you won't be running to Scotland either. The Empire is finished no foreign land to seize.

Hey @AlbaHibernia If you're so Irish why are you using the Latin name? Also Irish may never be British but the North is, I can say this because im an ulster-scot myself. Typical American who's 1/8th Irish suddenly understands every bit of sectarian violence, doubt you even know what Bloody Sunday is without googling it.

@Digihuman No, no it's not. Just because a colonialist came along and declared all land as far as he can see British does not make it British. For more than 800 hundred years the Irish have fought Britain. It will never be British. Tiocfaidh ár lá
