Gets me kind of angry. I bought the newest trackmania and I'm not even allowed to play it because my computers not good enough. So im trying to play all the old games, but I can't even get all the games for one, I also cant get Trackmania ESWC, and Trackmania United forever is all blurry for me and I cant seem to update it. And once again, the track editors and car editors suck, so I guess I'll have to find whatever software people use to make actually cool tracks and cars. Anyways, that's my rant. If you have an answer for things I've said here, feel free.

But no, computers have to be like this interpersonal experience, where you have to put effort into every part of the installation process, its like you're manually installing the games and updates yourself. Lastly, I wish Nadeo would kind of work on their old games a little more. I mean, they could've just updates Trackmania ESWC to make it functional on better operating systems. Nadeo could've given you more control over the track editor, instead of having to find a hacked version of the software just to be able to be creative with it. Nadeo could've made a waaaaaaaay better car editor, but nope, instead you have to install a 3rd party software and make your car in that. And whenever you want your username to be colorful for example, why do you have to do it in some weird binary Hexidecimal type stuff, its like Nadeo was explicitly trying to make their game seem like more of just a server and a physics engine, rather then an actual game that you'd buy. I wish they had the option to go into the advanced functions of a game and look at all its files for if you were computer savvy, but I also wish they had a compressed display of what the game is, where its put into Xbox format, you see a thumbnail of the game and you click play, and all updates will be a large green button. Also, why is the process of getting Trackmania ESWC so difficult. Like honestly, shouldn't I just be able to get the game? Why is the process of getting the game like going into all these random sites, installing random files and moving them around into folders, its like a 10 min youtube tutorial, its just annoying. Why can't i just type the game in on google, and then proceed to buy it, install it, and play it, and then have all the pending upgrades install first before I play, like Xbox. Continued...

In this thread alone I've seen like 5 solutions and none of them I even know what they're talking about. I have no idea how to do this stuff. I just want to update the game, and I know the update for graphics exists because many people have that update. FYI , my game is waaaaay more blurry then these photos, I dont get to see the sand shaker icon whenever you're in an online server, and the words Trackmania above the starting line is barely readable to me. So yeah, frustrates me with computers why they can make updates and things like a button, everything has to be in a variety of seperated folders and re arranged or deleted, or you have to go to a site on the internet to install some sketchy new thing you're unsure of, doesn't make sense why the computer community prefers this, I guess its so they can MOD and stuff. continued....

On a side note, you wanna know why I don't like the world of computer software, computer gaming, editing, and all computer things, is because it's not neat and you kind of have to know everything about how a computer works to even understand how to do anything on one. I like the games, I like the internet, I love trackmania, but why do computers have to be so messy, I feel like I'm typing Code in the terminal just to get an update, and often whenever I try these out of the box solutions, you're just worried the whole time you're gonna get a virus, or that you won't be able to convert back to where you started. It's annoying to me, because if Nadeo did make a graphics update, why don't they just play is simple and have an very noticable green button, saying Update 1.17 or something. Like, whats with all these solutions people are needing to come up with to actually get the update, why isn't it just a green button. continued....

Replacing the files in the TMUF Steam version folder with the version from the official site fixed it for me. Seems like steam version just sucks. Thanks for the help!

Downloading the game from it's official website seems to be the best version that's available, and works the best for me to this day
