SAVE FEATURE
Thankfully the game is extremely generous and creates an autosave for nearly every chapter, so if you want to reload a certain chapter for any achievement, you can load up a chapter and quickly get it

Story-related and cannot be missed, because you have to combine 6 items to progress. The item combos are:

Batteries + Flashlight = Working Flashlight

Camera + Film = Camera w/ Film

Poison + Whiskey Bottle = Poisoned Bottle

Red Bowl + Glue = Fixed Bowl

Bullets + Gun = Loaded Gun

Dry Rag + Paint Thinner = Wet Rag

Nail Gun + Nails = A Loaded Nail Gun

A very easy achievement to get

Firestarter
Use lesser combustion 5 times.

Firecracker
use lesser combustion 10 times.

Just use 'Lesser Combustion' 10 times over the course of the game

TIPS
- Load up Chapter 11: Into The Fiery Furnace. Because during this chapter, you can use 'Lesser Combustion' without having to aim or need a reason to fire it. Use it 10 times (Make sure NOT to hit the guy) and there you go

*This is a cumulative achievement. So it will stack up over multiple playthroughs and profiles

Because these achievements are all very similar, you can get all 3 in 1 go!

They see me rollin
Get spotted 5 times.

ACHIEVEMENT NOTES
- This can only be achieved during the Nighttime sections

TIPS
- Load up Chapter 9: Betrayal because you will have the Memory-Erase ability and can quickly get spotted multiple times, instead of getting caught, reloading and repeating.

Mem-error
Use memory-erase 5 times.

Dr. Alzheimer
Use memory-erase 10 times.

Aside from getting caught, you won't ever need to use this ability at any other point, so it is very missable

TIPS
- Load up Chapter 9: Betrayal and go to the garage. Both Will and Mother will be there, so you can get spotted twice, use Memory-Erase and rack up the numbers faster

Hoarder
Collect 20 items.

ACHIEVEMENT NOTES
- You must have 20 items on you at once, not over the course of the game

TIPS
- This can be done as early as Chapter 4. Make sure to pick up anything you find. Your inventory should look like this

Frank Morris
Escape from storage jail.

It is possible to completely bypass this achievement because it's not part of the story. In the room containing the stairs adjacent to the Garage. This achievement is needed for the 'Mommy's Little Helper' achievement. Make sure to pick up the key first, as the door locks once you pick up the Tire Iron.


TIPS
-Can be done from Day 4 and onward
-Required for the 'Mommy's Little Helper' achievement
-Make sure to pick up the key BEFORE getting the Tire Iron because once the door is locked, you can't escape and are forced to reload



*Fun fact, the name is a reference to an Alcatraz prisoner who escaped

One of the harder achievements in this game. There are a total of 10 different chores to complete. Below is the description and the list of chores

Mommy's little helper
Complete chores for all the presents.

I recommend completing all Chores on Chapter 4 because all areas are accessible and all characters are present.

TASK: Clean my room.
EARLIEST CHAPTER: 2

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 2, you will see 5 toy cars on the floor. Pick them up and put them inside your Toy Chest

TASK: Brush my teeth.
EARLIEST CHAPTER: 1

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 2, go to the bathroom at the bottom right, pick-up and equip the toothbrush, then use it near the sink

TASK: Take out the garbage.
EARLIEST CHAPTER: 4

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 2, walk into the kitchen and pick-up the garbage bag. Head outside and to the top left past the Shed to the dumpster and place it inside

TASK: Find earrings
EARLIEST CHAPTER: 4

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 2, head towards the right wing of the Maid's rooms. In Jovita's room are the earrings. Pick them up and return them to mother

TASK: Collect laundry into correct baskets by color.

DESC: Scattered throughout the Mansion are both colored and white pieces of clothing. Sort them into the correct Laundry Baskets. Below are the items

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 4, walk into the SLAUGHTER-ROOM and talk to Jed. He will ask you to move the boxes into the freezer. Move all the boxes.

TASK: Find gasoline for the lawnmower.

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 4, walk outside and talk to Antonio. he will ask you to grab some gasoline for him. Give him the gasoline from the Garage.

TASK: Find a bottle of 33 wine.

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 4, talk to Alastair. He will ask you to pick up a bottle of wine. Give him the wine from the Wine Cellar through the Garage.

TASK: Find a tool for mechanic

DESC: Upon starting Chapter 2, Will asks you to get him his Tire Iron. Head into the room above but before you grab it, make sure to pick up the Cage Key and then the Tire Iron. After escaping, give Will the Tire Iron.

TASK: Find the music cassette.
EARLIEST CHAPTER: 4
LAST CHAPTER: 14
DESC: Upon starting Chapter 4, Will asks you to find him his cassette tape. Head into the right wing of the Maid's rooms and it will be in the hallway. Give him the cassette tape.
NOTES: This chore is non-missable because you have to complete it in order to advance in the story

Read 20 journal entries

Whenever you talk to someone or do a task, your Journal will be updated and new info will be added. Open it up and wait for the text to finish appearing, then close it. You'll know when you get a new entry because a notification will appear

2 extremely easy to get achievements that are also missable

Explorer
Find secret chamber before chapter seven.

Can be done as early as Day 4. When you go to the wine cellar, just keep hugging the bottom wall and you'll pass through it

TIPS
-Can be done as early as Day 4
-Must be done before Day 7 or else you'll automatically be given a map to the secret area
-If you didn't do it before Day 7, you'll have to restart from the beginning or load up a Chapter 4 save

Sherlock
Open safe without hints.

Can be done as early as Day 4. Throughout the house are random numbers that give you a hint to the safe's combination.

TIPS
-Can be done as early as Day 4
-Must be done before Day 12 or else you'll automatically be given the safe combination
-If you didn't figure it out before Day 12, you'll have to restart from the beginning or load up a Chapter 4 save
-The safe's combination is 6-6-19-66

Tour de Dante manor
Cycle 10 miles.

One of the most time consuming achievements to get. Make sure to get the Bicycle very early on (See 'Mommy's Little Helper' for info about chores) Once unlocked, hop on and either play through the game (Remember to hop back on after each chapter) or just do circles until it unlocks


Marathon
Run 26 miles

Same as Tour de Dante manor, except it's walking. You can either playthrough the game or do circles until it unlocks

Not hard achievements, just time consuming.

Oops!
Shoot someone.
+
Screw hiding
Shoot 5 persons.

Shoot 5 random people. Be aware that after shooting someone, you will have to reload your last save.

ACHIEVEMENT NOTES
- This can be obtained at any point once you have retrieved the gun
- This can't be achieved after you've killed your Teacher

TIPS
- Make sure to save your game before you shoot someone. After you shot them, reload your last save and repeat till you've done it 5 times

A super easy achievement. Just take 20 pictures very quickly

Paparazzi
Take 20 pictures

TIPS
- You can only get this achievement starting from Chapter 7: Fatal Affair. Once obtained, just spam your 'use' button quickly. Thankfully there isn't a reload time so you can snap pictures instantly

Are You There God? It’s Me, Lucius
Turn a cross five times.

TIPS
-Can be done on any day
-You will come across these crosses in the game, so you definitely won't miss them

There is no answer
Talk to to people 10 times.

You can talk to every single person in the game. This can be done as early as Chapter 4. Just walk around and press your USE button to talk to them

Inside your head
Use mindcontrol 5 times.

Ultimate devil mindtrick
Use mindcontrol 10 times.

This achievement can only be earned during certain sections of story mode. The moments these happen are:

Chapter 07: Jovita jumps off the balcony

Chapter 09: Antonio hops into the lawnmower

Chapter 12: James shoots himself

Chapter 14: Will knocks himself out with the wet sponge

Chapter 16: Charles shoots Nancy with a nail gun

Chapter 18: Priest stabs his own eye out with a crucifix

Either replay the game or reload Chapter 14 (Which is the fastest) 10 times
