As of Aug 23, 2019 All items in this mod were tested and working. After that date however the mod has become unsupported and as such is no longer updated or tested with new content.


--- Features included in final version updated on 8/23/2019 ---

High-level Features:
  • View Dino stats and level-up choices from spyglass, binoculars, longneck rifle, assault rifle, and sniper rifle.
  • Customize your HUD by choosing what stats to reveal for wild and tame dinos seperately.
  • Targeting for all items ignores or, sees through, your current mount.

Vision related items:
  • Common Features:
    • View custom dino stats from afar.
    • Can see through glass objects.
    • Toggleable "Snapshot Mode" <alt+s> - Allows user to freeze the HUD on the current target.
  • SEL Spyglass:
    • Toggleable "Locked View Mode" <n> - Allows the user to scan a large area without the need for holding down a button. This mode also minimalizes the hud by removing the overlay giving the user a larger view area.
  • Electronic Binoculars:
    • Custom 6X zoom feature.
    • Full 360 degree useability while mounted.
    • Audio spying. (Enabled/Disabled through user settings <shift+f1>)
    • GPS posistioning. Analog displays on sides show location of your view target while digital readouts show the players current location.
    • Night vision. Left click for toggle. Does not intefere with Tek Helmet or other items providing night vision buffs by only enabling its own buff when others are absent.
    • Toggleable "Locked view mode" <n> - Allows the user to scan a large area without the need for holding down a button. This mode also minimalizes the hud by removing the overlay giving the user a larger view area.
    • Can switch between 1st and 3rd person view while item is equipped and not zoomed in.
  • Enhanced Electronic Scope:
    • Custom model and icon to differentiate the scope from vanilla scopes.
    • Custom 4X zoom feature.
    • Night vision. Toggle with <n>. Does not intefere with Tek Helmet or other items providing night vision buffs by only enabling its own buff when others are absent.
    • Attaches to Longneck Rifle, Assault Rifle, and Sniper Rifle.
  • SEL Tek Hemlet:
    • Retains all of the vanilla functionality
    • Crafted using an existing Tek Helmet and 30 additional electronics. The SEL Tek Helmet will keep all of the original helmets stats. This means you can use helmets upgraded through other mods without loosing the upgrades.
    • Adds toggleable Dino HUD and GPS functionality <shift+f2>, or GPS only <shift+f3>.
    • Includes 4X magnification funtion built into visor.
Tranq items:
  • Scoped Longneck Tranq Rifle
    • Crafted by combining a longneck rifle and an enhanced scope from this mod. The new rifle will keep all stats from the source rifle making it safe to use with higher grade rifles without loosing quality.
    • Maintains all features of the enhanced scope without unequiping the scope when tranq darts are loaded.
    • Compatible with Stage 1-4 darts below as well as vanilla darts. Note: If stage darts are ever loaded into this rifle it will no longer be allowed to fire vanilla darts.
  • Custom Darts and Arrows
    • Dart and arrow behavior changed to be a little more realistic in that they all take time for the drugs to build up (all torpor delivered over 15 seconds). Multiple shots within the 15 second window do not make these drugs take affect faster, they just add more impact to the end.
    • Darts and Arrows both come with 4 different levels of effectiveness. (Stage 1-4)
    • Fully customizable for initial damage and total torpor to be delivered over the 15 seconds. (Damage * mutliplier = total torpor over 15 seconds)
    • Please see GameUserSettings.ini Options for default values. Note: The defaults are set for modded servers with high level dinos. Server admins should decide appropriate settings for their server and remove any engrams if needed.
Structures:
  • Electronics Workstation
    • Optional crafting station. All items from this mod may be made either in the player inventory or in this crafting station.
    • This crafting station offers enhanced crafting speed that may be customized in the GameUserSettings.ini file.
    • Adds a little technology flair to your base and includes it's own toggleable desklamp.
  • SEL Trough and SEL Tek Trough
    • Troughs were broken by Genesis update.

Due to popular demmand I have decides to branch the vision pieces into their own mod. This mod will continue to have them as well for those who wish to get it all in a single mod. The new mod (SELVision) should be released today or tomorrow, and will include a new spyglass for lower level characters, the binoculars, and scopes for long neck, sniper, and assualt rifles. None of the torpor items or crafting station will be included in the new mod nor will the scoped long neck rifle. The scope for the long neck in the new mod will behave just like vanilla and unequip when tranqs are loaded.

Hey there @Selendras! Any chance that you can make non expiring night vision goggles with your night vision settings and overlay? 0 zoom and no stats?

This mod is so great but 90 mb is high size for a binocular mod, this mean too long loading server and game time if we consider that a dedicated server have around 15-20 mods. I think would be fine make a standalone mod for binocular and another mod for tranquilizer, just a suggest.

It is a test version of the dev kit that has been released. I do not have the patience for that and will be waiting for WC to release through the unreal updater which they said they would do once the kit was stable. That has not yet happened.

Bow and compound bow are broken and will be fixed when a new dev kit is available. The current dev kit shows them working properly so obviously something changed since 251 that I can not see in the current kit :(

Would anyone be able to help me guess how much torpo my ascendant longneck rifle would do at 260% damage and stage 4 darts? Busy today haven't gotten to test and I am being stupid and can't math it out lol thank you in advance to anyone that can help!

I have a high quality longneck and the torpor from tier 2 tranqs still seem to do only 500 torpor.
