GET THE BEST AMULET
Is there an amulet in Dead Cells that is OP?

-The answer is yes! There is an amulet that allows you to go invisible to enemies after not entering combat for 5 seconds. With this power you can easily run through all the enimies in the game. From here, you can run through each level and collect more skill, strength, and health points.

You can obtain this amulet by defeating an ELITE enemy which can be found by walking into an evil shrine as show in the picture below. Or, they can be found randomly in each level. Once defeated, the Elite has a 100% chance drop rate containing an amulet.

NOTE: Obtaining the invisible amulet may be hard due to the fact that each amulet drop is completely random.

GET THE BEST WEAPONS
The starter weapons I personally use are:

  • Primary weapon:
    Dual Daggers
  • Secondary Weapon:
    Lightning Whip

  • 1st Item:
    Flash Bang
  • 2nd Item:
    Ice Bomb

Used correctly, these weapons combined are super powerful

After you collect many cells and bluprints...
  • Unlock new powerful items
  • Upgrade items

Im still trying to form the best loadout as I have now reached a more advanced set of levels.
As of right now, I found the best items for me are:

  • Primary weapon:
Assassin Blade (Increases damage when from behind - wokrs great with Phaser)
  • Secondary Weapon:
Infinite Bow (Great range weapon with unlimited ammo)
  • 1st Item:
Phaser (allows player to teleport behind closest enemy)
  • 2nd Item:
    Ice Bomb or Death Orb

-with great power, comes great responsibility

My strat: Lots of Skill+ (I had 9), Ceiling Turret, Horizontal Turret. I was lucky to get a ceiling turret that poisons and a horizontal turret that burns whatever it hits and causes fire to trail it.

A "Best Weapon" recommendation:
Primary: Rapier (Roll then attack for a critical), you can nearly always triple hit after a roll before the enemy can respond, so it's super strong, then just roll to their other side and repeat if necessary.
Secondary: Lightning Whip, it's got huge range and helps find Secrets you may have missed, allowing you to find plenty of carrots and gold. The damage on it is also quite good if you can find a higher tier one.

Primary Item: Death Orb, I agree it's really strong and great for clearing out hallways.
Secondary Item: Magnetic Grenade. The Magnetic Grenade combined with Lightning Whip is bar none the most busted combo I've found yet. Stuck up on a platform and see tons of enemies below you? No problem! Throw down a Magnetic Grenade and spam your whip (It can hit enemies below you, but not through floors/walls) and clear them all out.

Highly recommend trying this out.

I dont think I've ever had 2 buffs in a single game. I've had some OP runs but always dies in Fjord or later because of some mistake / bad positioning

The real easiest way to beat the game is the way I did it. Electric whip with 2 dmg boost as actives and upgrade damage all the way. Basically one shot everything constantly and the Final boss gets utterly destroyed. I had an infantry bow as secondary and were one shotting his tentacle with the damage buff. I think the damage boost need to be nerf everytime I have 2 i destroy the whole game instantly

First time I beat the boss was with repeater and flamethrower turrets. But I also had fun with meat grinder and magnetic mine.

I have a huge love for those skills that passes through walls. Allows some cheezing of those small areas with lots of enemies. The teleporting slashers are my worst enemies. Somehow I cant doge them for shit and they push you when they teleport so if you're in the process of climbing out of the way, they push you out of the chain and murder you while you try to figure out what happened ans where you are.

Also noting that skills that stay in place like turrets and traps seem very bad against the Watcher. I faced him once with a turrets setup and they were useless against it because it would always fly out of the way.

Now what about traps & other items? On the cheesing topic there's Meat Grinder. I just killed a boss just by laying out 2 grinders and dodging his attacks.

With that I can agree 100%! Thanks for listening mate.

I can't agree Unktray, because Electric Whip is more of a mid-range weapon. I personally use it to swiftly deal with anything flying or to cheese some enemies while standing above them. It also has amazing stagger. Also I'm pretty sure even the game counts Electric Whip as ranged weapons since I can pick it up as a random "bow" weapon with the unlock.
