Introduction
This is a guide is not a HOWTO, but will give you some ideas how I finish it, feel free to comment it.
I try to keep it uptodate since it was made pre version 1.0.1

Survival mode is one of the 3 game modes, were you will face waves of enemies.
Wave I 100+
Wave II 150+
Wave III uncommon card 200+
Wave IV uncommon card 300+
Wave V uncommon card 400+
Wave VI rare card 500+
Wave VII rare card 600+
Wave VIII epic card 700+
Wave IX epic card 850+
Wave X booster 1000+

Every wave can also grant one of the following "honored" epic cards:
Honered Flamer
Honered T.Hammer -2 effort on attack, ignores armor
Honered S.Riffle -1 card from enemy (3ammo)
Honered S.Shield +1 or 2 shield +health
Honered P.Pistol
Honered C.Sword II +2 or 3 stun
Honered Shotgun +2 or 3 effort
Honered Hv.Flamer +blaze
Honered Knife +1 or 2 shield
Honered Hn.Flamer +blaze (3ammo)
Honered C.Flamer +blaze (3ammo)
Honered P.Spear +shield

All weapons have a special effect which will give you 5 rage or 10 rage when at max level.

Only wave X gives always a honored epic card, in total you can have between 1 and 5 chonored epic cards.

I before stated that either scout or terminator are easiest and i didn't have much experience doing it with a Power Armor, well that changed since the nerf of Hammers.

Terminator still remains an option although I think Power armor is now quiest in clearing it.
Enemies
there are 6 types of enemies:

Cultists/Melee:

Berserk - Always drops a grenade when dying.

Hulk - Will almosy always reload armor

Commander - Can reduce effort on area.
no pic at the moment, but it's the one which has a steel lower jaw.

Support/Ranged:
Support - Always drops a grenade when dying.

Marksman - can remove equipted weapons

Stormtrooper - <will update when i know again what their special was :D )

Abilities:
Disarm - removes all equipted weapons
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=926573293

Binding Flash - give you effort
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=926574303

Blazzing Ammunation - much like blaze only worse

Valgard - Scout
I haven't played scout for survival for a long time, this iso my old setup

I recommend a fast deck, with 3 wolves, also I love to bring 1 weapon with overwatch.
In most cases that would be Heretics Bane, since it gives +% to power weapons, like Heimdalls Star, and can be reloaded quickly with a plasma pistol (which can also be easly used aswell)

Spec:
Wolfheart
Bloodbath
Lightning speed
Last Stand
Grenademastery
Lone Wolf
Stunning Explorsions

An example deck setup would be:

Movement cards:
3x sprint
3x run

weapons:
1x hertic's bane
1x Honord p.pistol
1x Jackal wolf's spite
1x Honored p.spear
2x Heimdall's star

3x Lucius std issue (grenade)
2xAgripinaa std issue
1xGraia std issue

other cards:
3x wolf companion
3x assault
3x effort -5
2x stun
1x blaze

The Wolfs are crucial in this setup.

Q: Why only 6 grenades when you can have 9
A: Since you also want to draw something else the grenades, but hey feel free to try it with 9 grenades

Valgard - Terminator
Playing Terminator is not that much more difficult then a scout, tho probably quicker.

I used to love Terminator with Honnored Hammer, but since the hammer has been nerfed into only hitting straight ahead, I personally think Hammers are almost useless. (except from one or two Mjalnar, not I will neither use white wolf Fury nor the Honored T. Hammer, if you can hit diagnally again i will prolly put in the Honored T Hammer, but i think WW Fury is only nice in your deck as fillerup so you can supply your honered T hammer.

My setup:
Reaper
Bestial Frenzy
Impenetrable Defense
Melee Mastery
Endless Fury
Combat Regeneration
Savagery

My Deck:

Movement:
3xVortex Pattern
3xTerran Unit MK2

Weapons:
1xHeretics Bane
1xPlasma Pistol (Jackal Wolf's Spite, Honored P Pistol)
1xThousand Shards (great to have both the +10% damage from the Heretics Bane and the 20%from ThousandShards)
2xSword of Russ
2xAxe of Morkai (crappy hitrating but nice AOE or to reload your Thousand Shards)
2xYoung Kings Blade (Great hit chance and nice that you can also hit behind your character)
2xWolfborns Claws
1xMjalnar (still nice to one shot your enemy with loads of armor, but since you need to position yourself in such away)

Other:
3xEffort -5
3xAssault
3xStun
1xHealing cry or Healing Howl (if you have it upgraded to atleast level 4 so the cost isn't too great)
2xDragonscale or Honored shield or 1 of each

The goal of this deck is easy try to hit multiple enemies with you aoe claws, once you killed them you can still hit them with your frostblade.
Keep up health with melee attacks and armor by killing them.
Don't move away from exploding grenades since they will give you more rage.

Power weapon will recieve +dagame from the Heretics Bane, you could exchange the power sword for an other heretics bane, but i just love the sword since it has 98% hit chance. ( and the +30% damage, which makes it do sometimes more damage then my non maxxed swords of russ)

I only use the Healing cry when there is 1 last enemy, and the next wave is comming.(no real need to add it to your deck but I like it :P )

Valgard - Power Armor
Since I read on the forum, Herocraft sees the power armor as the main armor, i thought is it possible to make a nice and fun power armor whom doesn't have to much difficulty on the survival battles.

Well I tried a flamer power armor, which works really great on mobile aswell, the only downside is that in PC version there is no Blazing Fury or Blazing Mercy, instead we have a Tamed Fire or Fire Vortex (only naming the Vortex tho not sure what the use case will be for it)

For this decks you need 2 maxxed out Epic Honored weapons (Honored hn.Flamer and Honored C.Flamer)

I've put in the C.Flamer since i like to have a weapon with overwatch that has the same ammotype as my main attack weapon the hn.Flamer

My setup:
Quick Reload
Extra Supplies
Unity
Concerted Attack
Painful Shots
Slayer
Promethium Mastery

My Deck:

Movement:
3xJump Pack (Uncommon)
3xJump Pack (Epic)

Weapons:
2xHonored hd Flamer (added 1 incase of an disarm and also great for reloading)
1xHonored C.Flamer
3xGimBlood's Growl/TamedFire/or Zion Elthor (At themoment i use GrimsBlood since I Think TamedFire was acccedently made an equip weapon (cost is the same as a use weapon)
1xHonored Flamer (don't know why it is there, but just feels right in there,I prefer it above Wolf's Eye or Durfast's fire, since the hit rating is higher (and the extra Rage)

Other:
2xTrack Finding
3xEffort -5
3xAmbush
2xBlaze
2xStun
1xHealing cry or Healing Howl (if you have it upgraded to atleast level 4 so the cost isn't too great)
3xDragonscale
1xHonored shield (if you have more maxxed out swap em for the dragonscale)

The goal of this deck is easy try to hit multiple enemies with your flames, adding +effort to them.
Stay low on effort with you main character which is easy since your attack mostly only cost 5 effort reloading costs either 3 or 4 effort but with a -effort card that's 0.
If you are high on rage and you have an Ambush just keep hitting 2 or 3 targets till you hit your rage bar and you will be reset to 0 effort.
I you can make sure one or your squad mates can kill they add do so your main caracter will recieve -5 effort.

Personally i love this deck, and I finally found a use for flame weapons ;-) (which I find are quite useless in missions or in pvp)
Squad Mates
My picks for squad mates are as follows

Kai is #1 for sure especially with his upgrade on the flamer: +1 shield OMG, he is the new improved
Herald, and he has a damage reduction card.

Ray: is nice with AoE, tho i don't get it why he has 2 equiptable weapons and can only wear one, and i hate switching between them.

Einar: Pro: Overwatch weapon with +4 effort to enemies just rocks, and can be reloaded with the other bolt gun/pistol

Yvgnar: I'm strugeling with Yvgnar, I like to use him with his shotgun, but that inmedialy makes the 11 effort equiptable sniper riffle useless. Which is a costly card to use as a movement card.

Harald: He just can't die if you keep his shield up, but he hardly does and damage since he is soooooooo slow, and positioning is so improtant now if you wish to use him with hammers.
(haven't tried him with flamers or cannons)

To reiterate the best tactic towards the end of each wave, this: KEEP ONE ENEMY ALIVE as long as possible while you heal up, put your shields up, summon a Fenrisian Wolf with the Wolf Companion card, reload, move into better positions ready to ambush the next wave, discard less useful cards and generally prepare. Only then kill him. After that everything gets a lot easier.

Gratitude Battle Brother! Do you have any updates to add to this fine guide?

A very helpful guide.
As a suggestion to anyone who experience any difficulties in Challenges I would recommend to manage the effort. It is the main key to victory. E. g. sometimes it's better to spend 1 action and end turn to make 3 actions in a row rather than 2.

Any builds or advice for a new player lacking on cards and skills? I've been playing for the last month and I've been able to make it as far as Wave VI, and I can consistently make it to Wave V no problem, but past that point I just stall out and die.
