Introduction, Requirements
While we have the ability to name transport lines, things might get complicated during the building phase.

You might not need to switch to transportation panel, each time you want to add a transport network, or build train line. If you want to see what platroms goes where, or serves what, or simply enumerate/name them for some reason, this is the guide.

This is basically a trick, which uses road segments on modular stations. It can be however used on non modular stations.

You need 2 essential mods.

1. Road Anarchy is a must.
2. Any camera addon of your choose, which helps you to zoom more effectively.
Naming (Modular Stations)
Most of the modular stations has a small piece of road on platforms, this is basically how each platform "snaps" to the other. We will manipulate this feature.

Let's take ULTRAHUB for example.

ULTRAHUB has 2 tile of gravel road on the end, they are named by default, and we'd like to manipulate these names, so they will actually serve a purpose.

Enable road anarchy, switch to ground mode and, extend those roads.

Once it's done, start naming them. If you don't want to name any platform (or the main building in this example), simply add a dot (.) in the title.

Once you're done with the naming, delete the roads you created. This will revert segment back to gravel piece, but the name you created will remain with it.

The end result:

Same trick can be used on BadPeanut's beautiful elevated station. In-game road tool doesn't snap from the right however, so you will need to extend roads to the left:

Apply the same tactic, delete extra parts then voila:

Naming (Non modular)
While I didn't tested it, same trick can work on any station, provided they have enough clearance.

While Anarchy enabled, you can drag a road under the platform or the train tracks. Name your road and cut unnecessary segments.

It might be possible that cims will use those created roads however, so you're warned. This is not the case on pre-made roads of modular stations.

Hope this might be useful in your city creation,

Cheers
