Basic Knowledge
If you didn't know Don't Starve Together is a wilderness survival game mixed with fictional magic and darkness. The aim of the game is to survive as long as you possibly can through rough conditions and seasons to spice things up.

This guide is here for those more newer players or those having trouble in the game survive longer! In this guide I will explain all the seasons and what to do, how to deal with hounds and more (Maybe)

Leave a comment, tip or feedback on my guide in the comment section under all the sectors of the guide and I hope this helps
Basic Tips
These are some basic survival tips!

1. Sometime soon (Ideal in Autum or Winter) build a tent to sleep in for sanity

2. Try bring along a friend to help you so life is easier

3. Try installing some good mods for Don't Starve Together so you ca live longer and have new content
Autumn
Autumn is your main starting season that you should always start with cuz the others are bad starters. Your main job in Autumn is to gather as many resorces as you can, make a base with alchemy engine, Hopefully get gears( Via. Treegaurds, PIgs, Beefalo, ect ). Your first recorces to gain are twigs, flint, grass, wood, stone, gold and flowers ( Or others I missed ). If you are with a friend it would be much easier to collect the basic recorces. Ask a friend to help you all your way through collecting , hunting, ect and your DST life will be much easier. Sometime soon ou will need a base... Well no worries I got an great idea of where to put one and that idea is around beefalo or pig village ( I think beefalo cuz full moon man ) The best is if you base at beefalo that are near the pig village so you have pig king and beefalo. Now is a great time to fish cuz in winter the ponds are all frozen in most the days of winter, I would use traps so you catch the frogs that go after you while fishing, then it is easier and extra meat! ( Soz about weird pic )
Dealing with Hounds
Dealing with hounds in my opinion is quite annoying and you should try make a good method. My methods would be rather making a bunch of tooth traps for killing hounds or getting that special turret called Houndius Shootius after making it in the ruins which will be explained another day!

Friends/ Myself:
One way to deal with hounds is just fight 'em. It isn't as efficient as the others but still works. If your going to fight them I suggest you have a friend(s) with you and to have good equipment. Early on in the game just having a Spear and Log Armor is ok but later on when the waves get stronger I suggest to have a Hambat or Shadow Sword along with a Football Helmet and Shadow Armor or Wood Armor.

Tooth Traps:
Tooth traps are a great way of killing many enemies that come past (Eg. Hounds, Spiders, Maybe Tallbirds, etc). So you may be wondering: "How do I craft such Tooth Trap?", well... Here is the recipe! For each tooth trap you need 1 log, 1 Hound's Tooth dropped sometimes from killing hounds and 1 rope in the weapons tab and only craftable at an alchemy engine. It can only be used ten times (Meaning can be stepped on by enemy ten times) so they should be replaced when needed. My strategy is to bunch them up in a hallway or little box with no walls so you can lure the hounds or enemy of your choice into the tooth trap pit/ hall.

Houndius Shootius:
The Houndius Shootius is a late game item mainly used in the harder hound waves or at harder enemies and goes well with the tooth traps. This is how you craft the Houndius Shootius: 1 Gaurdian Horn dropped from killing the gaurdin (The ruins boss), 1 deerclops eyeball which I explained in the WInter Sector and 5 thulecite which you obtain in the ruins after breaking items that drop it or from special chests and it is crafted at the ancient tab that you access while using a suedo science machine (I can't spell it) and I don't think it needs to be repaired. You right click the ground to plant it down and it will shoot are your nasty enemies that get in it's magical sight. While it charges it's attack it admits a circle of light you can step in to protect yourself from the darkness. My method with it is to put it close to your tooth trap place so it deals extra damage to your gnarly foes.
Winter
Now your great autumn is past and in comes the winter! I hope you got your Thermal Stone and warming gear ready! To get warming gear I would seggest shaving beefalo and farming spiders for silk and beefalo wool to make Winter Cap, If you end up killing a beefalo it drops a Beefalo Horn useful for the best wniter hat in the game! (Unless tam-o-shanter is better), Get some stone and flint and the risk of your pickaxe to make a Thermal Stone! Got that out the way now for what to do in winter. First you should collect lots of ice so you can make great meals in your crock pot you will build. To make one you need 3 cut stones, 6 charcoal and 6 twigs, you make it at the food tab and at atleast a science machine ( Hopefully alchemy engine if you are listening! ) And also make a Ice Box which needs 1 Board, 1 gear and 2 gold in food tab at alchemy engine ( Hope you have the engine! ) and put your ice in the engine. Next thing to do is hint for food, tje best way to do it is in hunts for koalaphants ( Sorry for spelling I am tired :P ) And the winter ones drop a winter trunk which is used for the Puffy Vest ( I think thats it name! :P ) and 8 meat. Cook 1 meat and 3 ice in the crock pot for the best way of making Meatballs / 2nd best meal! The best meal is Meaty Stew which needs 4 meat items like the meatballs but 4 instead of 1 ( Prob use not small but not fresh meat ) and there you go... Meatballs and Meaty Stew. Then comes the end of winter! :D
Fighting Deerclops...?
I've made a guide on how to fight Deerclops and it should be shown if you go to my profie and then my guides. Sorry that I didn't mention this earlier...
Spring
Winter has past and now you are dealing with Spring / Rainy Time. The first thing you should do is make an Eyebrella which needs 1 Deerclops Eyeball, 15 twigs and 4 boneshards, in Hat tab and needs alchemy engine. This is a great way to block rain while doing work like cuttings trees or mining rocks. Now you have the eyebrella with you now you can do work. Beefalo and bees will now hate you in spring but you can fish again. Yet I still say go hunting for meat as food or use veggies and fruit to keep you full. Now you have got food and rain saftey and hopefully lighting rods ( Forgot to talk about them... meh too late :P ) I say you go caving for some underground loot or just fish... Do not harvest bees or shave beefalo now it is too late in spring cuz they hate you!
Summer
Spring is over but now Summer kicks in. You can harvest bees and shave beefalo if you want cuz they like you now but the big problem is overheating! Make an Endothermic Firepit by using 2 Nitre, 4 cutstones and 2 electrical doodads in the Light tab at an alchemy engine. Use your thermal stone on the fire to make it cold so you can walk around in summer to do work like cut trees and mine stone. Cold is most important now than ever so make sure you always have you deheated stone ready for any adventure! Still use hunts for meat and veggies as food. You should be prepared for summer! Back to Autumn! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :P
Fighting all Bosses
I've never actually killed them before, I've only got them distracted and they stayed in the swamp.

Here are some tips that help me survive them WITHOUT trapping them.

1. Have some friends, they can make it much easier

2. You should have a good weapon and armor. With early bosses it would normally be Hambat and Football Helmet

3. (Unless playing Wigfrid) Do not tank bosses, it is much safer and more effecient way to kill bosses if you 'Kite' them instead.

(Basic Kiting Guide)

Kiting is when you attack a monster and in their attack animation you move away and dodge the attack. Enemies with longer attack animations are easier to dodge however if an enemy has a really short attack animation then you might even need to be pixel perfect to successfully kite them without taking much damage.
Conclusion
To settle things off thank you for reading this guide because it really helps me feel happy and feel supported.I hope this helped you in some way through seasons. Comment which season is the hardest for you so I know you red this. Bye!

I mentioned deerclops in another guide and I'm so sorry I didn't do the best I'm not the smartest DST player it's just how I survive for a long time. I have added on to the guide a little bit to try make it be a little better :steamfacepalm::steamhappy:

The guide is not that bad, it just lack a lot of redaction and details, and is not newbie friendly, like " craft an eyebrella" when did you mention about killing deerclops or maybe dealing with hounds,
If the player is farming beef wool, it would be nice to make a note of they may drop the horn for the best winter hat or something like that
Listing things would help a lot, mobs and bosses of each season etc etc, theresa lot of room to improve

Everyone is complaining kinda 'bout my summer... I guess it's because I didn't explain much

1 You can only get gears from mechanical enemies or tumble weeds (00.01% chance)
2 If you want to survive summer, mine some (15) ice to build an ice flingomatic to put out fires and keep crops from dying.
3 If you want to make a good and easy rain hat, hit some (2) moles with a hammer to knock them unconcious and use them to make a rain hat.
4 For your ice flingomatic, be sure to mine the ice in the summer or early spring or it will melt and you'll be screwed for summer
Hope this helps
