Good and Fun Dragon/Weapon Combos
By (Cyber)Brimstone
Alot of people ignore weapons and mainly focus on their dragon's abilities or vice versa. I was one of these people until one day I decided to try using both just for fun. I experimented with around 20 or 30 different combinations and found out that some can be devastating even when used by complete newbies. All you have to do is know what buttons to click and when, assuming you have the right combo, of course. In this guide I will show some combos that I have used to dominate the leaderboards and have a load of fun as well. Feel free to comment about what you like using, I will be updating this guide every once and a while and I might add something you like.

Banshee and Ulfberht
Many people don't know this, but Banshee's echolocation ability will, at close range, inflict mind-blowing amounts of damage. Once fully upgraded, echolocation can bring an opponent to around 25% health or insta-kill them. However, you basically have to be touching someone for it to inflict
the damage I described. Banshee's breath ability can also cause confusion. So since you need to
be extremely close to an opponent to do anything at all, I mainly use the Ulfberht's primary ability. The breath attack will not be a big source of damage, so you can forget about upgrading it and put everything into Banshee's secondary and Ulfberht's primary ability. Activate them at the same time while sticking to someone and watch them explode. Echolocation will bring them way down in health and the fire ring will finish them off.

Some last tactical notes: damage takes priority, but try your best to max upgrade your health, since you are practically guarenteed to take considerable amounts of damage when fighting. Never fight multiple opponents, the exception being when you see a group of people with half health or lower - you can 'kamikaze' into the group and use echolocation.

One last thing, don't fight people who can also cause confusion or slowness, especially Nightmare. These people will send you off course and cause you to 'missfire', missing your chance and getting caught in cooldown.

Summary: Quick 1v1 kills against other dragons that rely on raw power.
Wardhammer and Rodar's Scepter
Another thing most people don't know, Wardhammer can heal structures. Just hold down Shift to make yourself stationary, then point your butt at a teammate or structure and watch that green bar fill back up. Rodar's Scepter can be used to amplify your healing ability to bring allies' health way up after only a few seconds of being exposed to your breath attack. It will also cause significant enough damage to make people back off after a while. Even for non-support players such as myself, this combo is extremely fun. It's very satifying to place yourself between a strong enemy and weakened friend and simultaneously damage and heal.

Last Note: You can really use this combo against any opponent, as long as you remember to protect your backside at all times.

Summary: Use Scepter to amplify breath attack and either stay back and heal structures or go out and save your teammates.
Spinereaver and Harvester
Spinereaver is capable of two amazing things: boosting speed and increasing damage. Now, alot of dragons can do these things, but what makes Spinereaver's versions of them great is that they do not require stamina/cooldown. Spinereaver can increase its speed by using its primary ability and can increase its damage via secondary ability. Its secondary ability is passive, and by that I mean it does not need to be activated, and increases Spinereaver's damage by a giant percentage as his health goes down. I'll get to why this is so great in a little bit. Next comes the Harvester. The Harvester's primary ability is also a close-quarters slash attack that only requires a 1-second cooldown, just like the tail-slash. Use both the Spinereaver's and Harvester's slash attacks while sticking to an opponent (the speed boost from the tail-slash will make that easy), and as you loose health, your damage will increase. Now, don't freak out and pull back when you notice that your health is getting dangerously low. You will lose alot of health every time you fight someone, but that's where your secondary ability comes in. You'll almost always come out on top. Now, I say almost because Spinereaver has average health and below average durability, and you're survival solely depends on how quickly you kill someone after getting into a conflict. If someone chases you while you're low on health, it's game over. In other words, it's not your defense that's keeping you alive during fights, it's the fact that your opponent can't damage you if they're dead.

Who not to mess with: Like with other close-combat fighters, don't fight people who can slow you down or confuse you. Also don't fight people with high armor (Wardhammer, Rimrock, Dreadnaught, Stonepeak, and Goldenclaw)

Summary: Very fun to use, best used on Nethergate map where people can't heal themselves and can be isolated.
Ultimate Support Combo
Once I reach a 1-star rating I will release the information about this mega-combo that will dominate in the Ballistae Alley and Nethergate maps. I will release info about mega-combo's everytime I reach a higher rating x)

Ok, one thing I failed to say in the information above is that most of the combos I describe will only show their true power when used with high tier dragons and forged weapons, though this is not always true, as is the case with Spine-Harvester combo and others.

I will be adding to this so some ratings would be nice so that it can be shown to other people and gain popularity. I would like to go up against people using the same combos as me x)
