Force Biomes

Description
Forces any optional biome to spawn during world generation.

As long as the mod is enabled when game is generating a Vanilla/RoG surface/cave/ruins level, the mod should work and force the biomes set from the configuration options.

Configuration Options:
  • On - Biome will spawn
  • Random - Biome might spawn (default)
  • Off - Biome will NOT spawn

NOTE: Only applies to default preset or custom default preset

Forest Biomes:
Normally 4 out of 8 (11 for RoG) of these "biomes" are selected to spawn during forest (surface) generation.
It is recommended to force UP TO 4 forest biomes to spawn since it will match normal forest generation.

Forest Biomes include:
  • Pig Village
  • Mandrake Forest
  • Spider Quarry
  • Killer Bees
  • Flower Patch and Rocks
  • Triple MacTusk
  • Frog Ponds
  • Frogs and Bugs
    --- Reign of Giants ---
  • Oasis
  • Extra Deciduous
  • Rocky

Cave Biomes:
Normally 2-3 out of 7 of these "biomes" are selected to spawn during cave generation.
It is recommended to force UP TO 3 cave biomes to spawn since it will match normal cave generation.

Cave Biomes include:
  • Cave Base
  • Mush Base
  • Sink Base
  • Rabbit Town
  • Red Mushroom and Bat Cave
  • Green Mushroom and Bat Cave
  • Blue Mushroom and Bat Cave

Ruins Biomes:
Normally 1-2 out of 7 of these "biomes" are selected to spawn during ruins generation.
It is recommended to force UP TO 2 ruins biomes to spawn since it will match normal ruins generation.

Ruins Biomes include:
  • More Altars
  • Sacred Danger
  • Ruins Camp
  • Village and Cave Jungle
  • Village Houses
  • Extra Military
  • Extra Sacred

巨人国篇
Oasis,绿洲,就是沙漠里的一片平原地形
Extra Deciduous,额外落叶林,我更愿意称之为诈骗落叶林,就是在猪王村以外额外刷新的落叶林
Rocky,只会刷新矿石的矿场群落
洞穴篇,海难篇未测试

偶然发现,翻译一下,可能有误
原版篇(因为原版与巨人国共用一张图所以也可以直接当巨人国篇)
Pig Village,猪人村,也就是除了有猪王的那个猪人村之外,额外刷新的猪人村
Mandrake Forest,曼德拉草森林,就是刷新曼德拉草的位置
Spider Quarry,蜘蛛矿场,蜘蛛和矿区一起生成的地形
Killer Bees,杀人蜂平原,生成大量杀人蜂巢的平原
Flower Patch and Rocks,在矿场地形后额外延伸出一片平原
Triple MacTusk,应该是指的是一片专门刷新海象小屋的平原,但是我记得没有这片平原也会刷新海象小屋
Frog Ponds,青蛙池,会刷新一大堆池塘的平原
Frogs and Bugs,青蛙和飞虫,我没搞明白它和Frog Ponds有什么区别,我全关后地图上就没有池塘了

@fainec Those are the options that are default in the game's world generation menu. To use this mod, go to "Mods" from the main menu, then "Force Biomes" mod, then configure mod to choose the biomes to enable/disable.

triple mactusk just won't spawn :/

at "default" it spawns no camp, without the mod it will only spawn one camp
at "more" there are camps everywhere with or without the mod, but still no trio x.x

@Jiggy007 This mod doesn't add any new biomes from DST, it allows you to choose from ones that might spawn in a regular world. The "Oasis" here doesn't protect against summer; it's like the other desert in DS but with no hound mounds nor volt goats, and it has a grassy area instead of a savannah one.

I have to ask what the Oasis biome is supposed to look like exactly. I get that it's not the one from DST but I have no idea what to look for.

This mod page could use a little bit more information. I've seen that the DST version has images to indicate what all biomes are, any chance you could extend the same courtesy to users of this mod here?
