Medal of Annihilation
(Awarded for performing a multikill of 40 or more enemies)

This one is only possible if there are 40 or more enemies in a wave. Using Missiles will NOT give you a Multi-Kill bonus. Make sure you have a good weapon and a high power level when taking on hordes of enemies, and you'll do just fine. Since enemies have less health on Rookie mode, that'll be your best bet.
Distinguished Green Greed Cross
(Awarded for 90% coin collection in a single wave)

This one is pretty tricky because it can only be earned when a certain amount of Coins are dropped within a wave; so if three Coins appear and you grab them, you won't get this medal.
Meritorious Marksmanship Award
(Awarded for 90% shot accuracy in a single wave)

Sometimes you have to shoot as much as you can to survive; but in this case, you need to shoot wisely. I'd recommend a slow-firing weapon that shoots less projectiles, and I'd also recommend NOT using a Missile within the wave you're trying to do this on, as that might take away your chance of earning it. Also, I think you have to fire your weapon enough times for this medal to be possible to earn.
Medal of Great Appetite Achievement
(Awarded for 90% food collection in a single wave)

This is pretty much the same as the 90% Coin Collection Medal, only easier because food pickups are all over the place.
Chicken Hunter Medal of Excellence
(Awarded for 90% kill ratio in a single star system)

Pretty simple; just kill all enemies in sight without letting at least 11% of the enemies escape within a chapter. There are some waves where enemies won't escape, so they probably won't count. Enemies die faster on Rookie mode, so unless you have plenty of Missiles and/or can easily avoid death on a higher difficulty, play on Rookie mode.
Hard-Boiled Certificate of Merit
(Awarded for no deaths in a single star system)

Easier said than done; just don't die in a single chapter. Use Missiles to your advantage, or, better yet, play on Rookie mode, since enemy attacks are less aggressive.
Recognition Medal of Self-Restraint
(Awarded for not using any missiles in a single star system)

Missiles are helpful, but you'll have to avoid firing a single missile within a chapter. Obtaining missiles is fine, just don't fire them. Play on Rookie and use a high-powered weapon to breeze through the chapter; and try not to die too much.
Conspicuous "No Help" Commendation
(Awarded for not using satellites in a single star system)

In my opinion, Satellites aren't really too helpful, so this should be pretty easy. You ARE allowed to pick up Satellites, just don't fire them.
Honourable "Either Brave or Stupid" Achievement Award
(Awarded for not using any power-ups in a single star system)

This one is very tricky; you are NOT allowed to pick up Atoms OR Presents (I'm not sure about the Presents) in a chapter. Play on Rookie Mode, and try to earn this in either these two ways:

Method 1: Start a new mission and beat Chapter 1 with your starting weapon.

Method 2: Use your current weapon without changing or upgrading once you enter another chapter. Recommended.
Superior Budget Thriftiness Commendation Medal
(Awarded for completing an entire mission without using any missiles)

Missiles are life-savers; they destroy (Or at least heavily damage) everything on screen, and even destroy enemy projectiles. Sadly, to earn this medal, you need to beat beat the whole game (Preferably in one sitting) without ever firing a Missile. You're allowed to obtain Missiles, just don't hit that big red button that says "LAUNCH MISSILE" in your cockpit. You CAN use Satellites. Normally, I'd advise to ignore food items, but they award points when you pick them up; and scoring points will eventually give you extra lives (And trust me, you WANT extra lives in a game like this). It's critical that you play on Rookie mode.
Outstanding "One Man Army" Medal
(Awarded for completing an entire mission without using satellites)

I'm pretty sure you know what to do at this point; remember, you can pick up Satellites, just don't fire them. If you get killed, try to avoid them so that they'll despawn after a while. Play on Rookie mode.
Rookie Hero Campaign Trophy
(Awarded for completing a mission on the rookie difficulty level)

All you need to do is beat the game on Rookie. Enemies have normal amounts of health, have simpler attacks, and you get 1-ups for every 1,000,000 points.
Veteran Chicken Hunter Campaign Trophy
(Awarded for completing a mission on the veteran difficulty level)

Beat the game on Veteran mode. On Veteran mode, enemies have more health, have more aggressive attacks, and you get extra lives for every 3,000,000 points. On the other hand, you score more points than usual on this difficulty. Play on Rookie before tackling this.
"I Eat Chickens for Breakfast" Campaign Trophy
(Awarded for completing a mission on the superstar hero difficulty level)

Beat the game on Superstar Hero mode. This difficulty is locked and can only be purchased with Keys in the Unlockables menu. On this most extreme difficulty, enemies are practically indestructible, their attacks are brutal, and you only get extra lives for every 10,000,000 points!! The score ratio here is even higher than in Veteran mode, however. If you want to play on this difficulty, please, please, PLEASE beat the game on Veteran mode without dying too much, or else you will die aplenty here...
Greatest Chicken Hunter of All Time Award (The big one)
(Awarded for completing an entire mission without dying once)

Ladies & gentlemen, heroes & chickens alike; this is it. The hardest challenge of all! Beating the entire game without EVER dying! Not once! Read carefully; because these tips are CRUCIAL for even standing a chance.

-In CI5, there are two unlockables; one for setting your Extra Lives to 1, and another for disabling them. Activating these aren't required, but highly recommended so that you'll know if you get your butt kicked. Having them both on is technically like playing on a Permadeath Mode. So why not? That's what this challenge is about.

-There is also the Damage Bonus & Utensil Pokers unlockables, but they're quite pricey. I recommend getting the "25% Key Increase Paintjob" first so that you can get keys more frequently. Damage bonus is as useful as you'd expect, while Utensil Pokers have high damage per second and is good for crowd control.

-I recommend playing the whole thing in one sitting without taking a break; because you'll never know what might happen if you reach the end without dying in multiple sittings...

-Don't continue where you left off if you die; remember, one death, and it's all over. Start a brand new game.

-Once your power level hits 9001 20, you won't need to worry as much as before. However, it's strongly recommended that you IGNORE Atoms once you're at max power. And by ignore, I mean pretend they're not even there. Remember, Greed is a sin; if you try to grab them or even try to avoid them, you'll end up dying, resulting in having you start all over from the beginning. If you feel it's safe not to move and there's an Atom coming towards you, just let it make contact with you. On the other hand, collecting Atoms or Presents will instantly cool down your weapon. So if you need to shoot like mad and it's safe to grab an Atom or Present, go get it.

-Don't aim for a high score in hopes of earning extra lives; you get NO second chances here.

-Only grab food items when you feel it's safe enough. You'll need all the missiles you can get to survive this nightmare.

-DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GRAB EVERY COIN IN SIGHT. Like I said, Greed is a sin. If they appear, pretend they don't exist and have them make contact with you only if you feel like you need to stay still. If you try to grab them or even avoid them... you guessed it; you'll most likely die. Coins only give you bonus points and nothing else.

-You should play the game enough times in order to get used to the enemy formations & boss attacks. Only attempt to earn this medal when you're ready!

-While the game refuses to explain this, always remember that bosses take more or less damage from certain weapons. I can't really help much here, but you COULD look up some information on their weaknesses if you want... but I'd just stick with the Neutron Gun.

-And finally... never, ever, EVER, EVER try to earn this medal on Veteran or Superstar Hero! ...Unless you're that psychotic enough to try and pull that off.

Good luck... you'll really need it. If you need more help (Or if you're too afraid to try it, like me), look at the Greatest Chicken Hunter of All Time Award guide by Sh4dow.
Conclusion
If there's any errors (Typos or incorrect information), please let me know. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go get a bite to eat... just hoping those chickens don't appear while I take my order... again.

Dying means losing just one life. And since you die in one hit, that means you gotta beat the whole game without getting hit.
