About
The route was composed by CMDR VicTic/SchmicTic and it takes you over 550 planets - all Earth-like, water worlds or high-metal content. With the recent increase in exploration payouts, the route is extremely profitable. All systems listed are just a few hundred lightyears away from the bubble which makes them perfect for starter explorers or veterans in need of a quick cash fix. It's of no surprise that the route is called "The Road To Riches".

Running the full route will earn you around 280mil credits (scaning marked planets), or even more if you stick around to scan the rest of the planets in the listed systems.

does anyone know what the best systems are for turning the scan information in for federation or empire systems?

Nah CMDR Skipp. You misunderstand what I mean.

Simple example:
Index number 555 and 556 reffered to HIP 32146 and HIP 895. Clearly there is "0Ly" between systems while in reality HIP 895 is around 300Ly away from HIP 32146. There is more errors like that - for example Index number 500 to 503 reffered to Hyades Sector DB-X C1-3, C1-5 and C1-6. Three different systems and no distance between them.

This is great amount of job to prepare full route including lot of high value systems. And I guess there is still a lot of work necessary to make masterpiece from it. Hope my feedback will make it better for future explorers :)

The "0ly" refers to the planets in the same system. So whenever you see it - it means the listed planet should be in the system you just jumped into.

Also, yea - it's stated multiple times that not all planets are listed. Especially the ones far out (which was a major deal back before the new scan tools were introduced)

And your trip time will be heavily affected by your scanning skills. If you spend 20min per system trying to find out where the planets are - it's gonna tage you a lot longer :)

Today finished route.
1. It's not weekend trip - took me whole week to scan everything.
2. Scanned all planets in all systems on the way, even icy and rock ones.
3. Companion tool list is quite bugged - just ignore the distances between systems, because there is a lot "0Ly" when in reality next targeted system is 100Ly from you.
4. Use it rather as a main plan not dedicated list where you go and scan just marked targets. There is a LOT of skipped planets and whole systems on the route.

MOST IMPORTANT. I earned only ~220mil rather than ~280mil scannin everything on the way. So I guess creator was on bit longer journey than listed one.

Still it's quite good method to earn for better ship (Python for example). I was hoping for bit better earning to buy Conda... but anyways even total newbie with build cheap Cobra can do this route without problems.

From me 4/5 - expected better money but still it was worth.

Jump into listed systems and scan for the listed planets for max profit. And no - all scan data is yours. You only get extra cash for discovering something first, but the discovery reward is your personal data and you get the same base amount of credits as anyone else who scans the planet

so i just fly this route in my ship and hand in data at the end? doesn't the increase in people doing this make it worse?
Skipp  [author] 17 Dec, 2018 @ 12:53am
As far as I know - no, the planets did not move. I did get multiple reports that the route is up to 40% more profitable after the new exploration system update! :steamhappy:

Has this route changed any due to the new 3.4 exploration mechanics?
Skipp  [author] 20 May, 2018 @ 7:20am
@Silshryk - unfortunately no. You can use the copy button to plot the rout to each next system. There is no way of plotting a multiroute path ingame at the moment.

Is there any possible way to automatically put the route you've posted in your galactic map in game?
