GWR 4-4-0 3252 'Duke' Class. 60 were built between 1895 and 1899 for express passenger use in Devon and Cornwall. Most had curved-top frames and early versions had a rounded firebox.

GWR 4-4-0 3300 'Bulldog' Class. 141 were built and mainly used for passenger services. A belpaire firebox was used and the majority had tapered boilers and straight-topped frames, although there numerous variations.

GWR 4-4-0 3200 'Earl' Class. A rebuild using the chassis and wheels from a Bulldog and the body and cab of a Duke, which to led their nickname of 'Dukedogs'. This combination produced an engine light enough for use on the Cambrian main line in Wales and its wooden bridge at Barmouth. 30 were built, 1 was preserved.

GWR 4-4-0 3200 'Earl' Class (British Railways livery). They remained in regular use until the 1950s, with the last withdrawn in 1960, making it one of the last class of engine with outside frames.

Basic texturing and shine. Supports user colours (except BR version), but no aging or user logo. Now with 13 on-board camera views.

Update: Added on-board camera views. Improved detail. Increased 3300 speed (55->60mph) & tractive effort (80->94kn).
Update: The models are now available as placeable scenery Assets.

Exactly, this is why I'm confused, because it literally has your name in it. How would another mod, not by you, want something with your name in it?

@Adseria - I've subscribed to this mod, opened all .msh files in the downloaded mod and searched them all for "axle_spring.mtl", none contain this reference (and by extension "jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl". The issue lies outside this mod.

So you think some other mod is making your models (gwr_3300.mdl and gwr_3252.mdl (and presumably also gwr_3200.mdl and whatever the BR version is called)) look for a file that you never created which literally has your name in it (jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl)? How does that work?

Also, I've checked, and none of my mods (including this one) have a "jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl" in their files, so I have no idea where they're getting it from, but, as I say, it must be one of your mods because it has your name in it.

@Adseria - I've just tested this version in a new game in Transport Fever and had no issues with any of the 4 engines. None of this mod's files (or any of my other mods) contain a reference to the material filename your error gave. The only explanation I can think of, is that another mod is conflicting with it or creating the issue.

3300 is the same. Exact same error message, except it's "vehicle/train/gwr_3300.mdl" instead of "vehicle/train/gwr_3252"

Just tried resubbing; no luck.

Also, forgot to mention: I haven't tried the others yet because I haven't unlocked them. When I do, I'll let you know if they work.

Also also, I realised you might need to know when the issue happened; it's if I try add it to a train, either buying one in the depot, or through the replacement interface. Just clicking on it is fine, but when I hit "buy" it instantly CTDs.
Adseria 25 May, 2021 @ 6:08pm
3252 causes the game to CTD with the following error:

"Lua error

File: vehicle/train/gwr_3252.mdl

cannot open res/models/material/vehicle/train/jk_gwr_bogie1_axle_spring.mtl: No such file or directory.

This error is usually caused by modding. The syntax of some game resources is not correct."

@Autocoach - Well spotted. Thanks. I've corrected that now.

A point that I think 3252 now says 3200 on the buffer beam.
