Counting Bowl

Beschreibung
This is a bowl that counts the things that are in it. It will only count items in a list, and you can assign value (to make some values worth more than other). You can also put a value in the description to override the value you put into the script. Easy to edit. Handles stacks of items (but not containers or decks currently).

This also has an example of a sphere physics cast to locate objects. As always, if you have questions, drop a line in the comments.

Judgernaut from the forums requested this.

Updatated using the new visual debug for ray casts.

Updated to prevent it from throwing an error if deleted. Also fixed it for the bug that occurs when you copy/paste the bowl.

Not at all. I always appreciate if I get a mention somewhere (workshop description, notepad, in the code, whereever, but even without it you're free to use it any way you please.

Wow, this is nice! Would you mind if I (or possibly someone else that I help) use it for a Legend of the Five Rings mod?

There ya go axis! Yes, this could be applied to any object with some edits. How I have it now, it is getting objects within a sphere the size of the interior of the bowl. So if it was to be used on a mat, I'd need to make some edits and change it to a box shape. I could probably make it a box shape with the same size of the mat now though, which would be neat.

You can ! In fact i made another mod with a flat, 1-sided counting mat [ ulr=https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=948918429 ]here[/url]

Would it be possible to add the scripting to a different object such as a tray?

This is wonderful. @Devieus Maybe we should add this to our mod?

Yep, you can do different values. You could also convert this to use a scripting zone fairly easilly =)

Man, I've been thinking of making this for a while. If i read this right, it should be able to do sets of chips with different values to display a total, and that's fantastic.

If not (will test on my end), it'd be great for a spin-off mod to be able to do that
