Map Strategy Guide
By Therealajtho
This guide will give all you Dragonriders out there the confidence and knowledge to win any map regardless of dragons/combos as long as you follow this guide, however there are preferrred combos for certain strategies so keep that in mind as your getting used to these strategies. *DISCLAIMER* this is NOT a combo guide therefore runes and dragon weapon combos won't be discussed in detail. Also teamwork is necessary for these strategies however due to the language barrier and that one random person who just doesn't want to listen it is important to learn how to play the vital role yourself. This is a work in progress and more strategies will be added as I have more time. Hope it helps.

Chaos Unleashed
This is the chaos unleashed map section here you will learn all of the strategies in order to have a guaranteed win *disclaimer* due to the language barrier and sometimes stubbornness it can be hard to implement these strategies which is why its is best to play the vital dragon role yourself or at least learn how to.
The different Chaos strategies are
  • Swift Strategy
For this strategy the preferred combo is Swift and Unity Mark, the reason for this is because unity goes through walls and with enough practice the swift will learn how to attack any shrine/obelisk without taking any damage as well as avoiding enemies while still doing damage to shrine/obelisk with the exception of the middle lane. For this strategy all you need to do is have the swift be the primary attacker with the rest of the team being either defense or a distraction. If the team decides to go on the defensive route (meaning they have mostly defensive dragons such as venom, rim, etc) then the swift will focus more on leveling early game with the *hopefully* confidence that their team can defend. On the other hand if your team decides to go with the distraction route the swift will focus on getting obelisks down with help from your team in taking down exposed obelisks/shrines or attacking middle in order to force the opposing team to defense so that the swift can go to work. *REALLY IMPORTANT* Do not expect swift to do all the work this strategy does NOT work without teamwork.
  • Shrine Straegy
For this strategy any dragon with range or high speed can pull this strategy off in particular (swift, magma, twin, briar etc). For this strategy the goal is to be get to level 2 ASAP and run to the enemies back shrine and destroy the turrets as fast as possible. Even if you dont destroy both what this strategy does is forces the enemy team to run back to try and kill you (trust me most teams can't resist). When this happens the enemy is forced to either stop defending the middle lane OR be underleveled from lack of middle area farming. Also while your back there be sure to either have a minion spell to make sure they aren't in your way or have enough dps to destroy them quickly. After you've done this and if done right (meaning you haven't died or escaped) you can either run upwards towards the minions that spawn and level even more OR force your opponents to chase you further back by attempting to get rid of the cage turrets (It is EXTREMELY worthwhile to get cage turrets down early).
  • Middle Full Out Frontal Assault
This strategy is only ideal when 1. you have chaos titan with you, 2 middle lane is destroyed and you need to get the front/back shrines or 3 your opponent has no chance your overpowering them and it's an easy win, this strategy is pretty explanatory you COMPLETELY focus on the middle and either attack obelisks last or obelisks are already destroyed
  • Divide and Conquer
Finally the last and one of the more common Chaos strategies. This strategy is ideal when you have the perfect balance of attack and defensive dragons for example (swift, stone, quetz, some dragon with venom for def, magma or some variation). For this strategy you force to enemy team to split their defenses by attacking different obelisks for example the swift attacks on top the stone attacks the bottom and whatever exposed obelisks are left the magma cleans them up while the quetz def and the 5th dragon either attacks middle or helps on def. This strategy compared to the others is HEAVILY dependent on dragon types so if you're blessed with this type of team take FULL advantage.
Nethergate
This is the nethergate map section here you will learn all of the strategies in order to have a guaranteed win *disclaimer* due to the language barrier and sometimes stubbornness it can be hard to implement these strategies which is why its is best to play the vital dragon role yourself or at least learn how to
*VERY IMPORTANT* Like all maps but ESPECIALLY this one you MUST CONSTANTLY LOOK AT THE MINI MAP regardless of whether the team has a banshee or not
The different nethergate strategies are:
  • Goldenclaw Strategy
For this strategy the goldenclaw will be the main attacker while the rest of the team tries to capture points. The preferred combo for this strategy is Goldenclaw and Aegis, the reason for this is because the damage reduce will allow the goldenclaw to tank the arrow attacks from the gate while simultaenously lowering its health. For this strategy all you need to do is have the rest of the team consistently trying to get all 3 points but most importantly the middle point in order to summon the nether titan. Once the tian arrives the team can help the goldenclaw finish off the gate and finally win the match.
  • Stonepeak
This strategy is similiar to the goldenclaw strategy however the preferred combo is stonepeak and rodar scepter, like golden stone has high health and also its boulders have the right distance to hit the gate without taking any damage. Just like the golden strategy same concept, stone attacks the gate early on with the damage boost from rodar and then after the rest of the team captures points and summons nether titan you finish gate together.
  • Bloodthief
For this strategy ossible combos are blood and sparrow, blood and tempus reach or blood and veritas. This strategy is hard to use because there is often a banshee on the other team however in the rare case that there isn't take full advantage. For this strategy the blood will use its high speed as well as invisibility to capture points fast and help the team summon the nether titan as fast as possible while playing the support/assassin role which is what blood is best at. while capturing points if you see low health enemies go in for the kill or save your teammates, teamwork is VITAL for this strategy.
  • Minion
Last but not least we have the very hard to implement minion strategy. For this strategy your team will purposely let the enemy take all 3 points in order to minion/tower farm to level faster and then later over power them. In nether gate there are 2 towers on each side and 4 minions spawn from each gate. For this strategy you need a t3 gold collect rune in your level 1 slot in order to take advantage of this. After your team levels from the towers and minions you have 2 options depending on the type of team you have either attack gate and force the enemy to defend (killing them all since you're overleveled) or using one of the previously mentioned strategies
Ballistae Alley
This is the ballistae alley map section here you will learn all of the strategies in order to have a guaranteed win *disclaimer* due to the language barrier and sometimes stubbornness it can be hard to implement these strategies which is why its is best to play the vital dragon role yourself or at least learn how to
*VERY IMPORTANT* Like all maps but ESPECIALLY this one you MUST CONSTANTLY LOOK AT THE MINI MAP TO AVOID ARROWS. Also there are 4 chests that spawn at the beginning and also at 1:30 mins during the match COLLECT THE GOLD FROM THE CHESTS TO LEVEL UP or you will be underleveled and DIE
The strategies for this map are
  • Ward
For this strategy the preferred combo is Ward and Rainmaker or Ward and Aegis. The ward's job is to tank the enemy's hits while healing the team while the rest of the team tries to destroy the first 3 towers as quickly as possible. Once the towers are destroyed the ward will then use the speed boost in order to help the team kill the rest of the structures fast winning the game.
  • Dread
For this strategy the preferred combo is dread and rodar scepter. The dread's job is to heal the team while dealing support damage to the enemy at the same time. This strategy is pretty straightforward however the dread has to watch their teammate's health to know when to heal at the right time.
