Description
An SSC developed missile cruiser Valkyrie class that has been stripped and refitted with cargo bays.
With the success of the conversion of the Gemini class cruisers and resale to the public, a second project was developed with similar considerations as the first. The Valkyrie class missile cruiser was selected due to it's lack of versatility and use to the SSC, who had no need for missile ships at the frontier. Missile production facilities and most of the racks and tubes were removed, cargo bays and structural braces were put in place to fill up and support the void. The project was mildly successful, not as popular as the first, but was deemed good enough.

Due to the replacement of the missile production facilities, the ship features good power generation, but as some of the fore capacitor banks were also removed to make space for cargo bays, forward power storage may take a while to initially charge, there should be no problem after the first charge during normal use. The ship also has good manuverability for its sizeto make up for the fact that the vessel is lacking armor compared to other ships in the field.
Two forward missile tubes were installed to add long range offensive deterrance for the relatively weaker armored ship.

The ship comes with four small turret mounts and two tiny turret mounts. It also has two missile tubes with sixteen missiles each (not inclusive of the one preloaded in the tube).
It also has two repair drones for combat repairs.

There are some drawbacks to the conversion, as the hull was thin and was not designed to account for the inertia of hauling cargo, the ship may be prone to heavy structural damage if some key braces are destroyed. This was exceptionally true if the forward missile batterys get blown up, as they sit right snug to a major bulkhead anchor point. This was part of the reason why they were not as well recieved as the gemini conversion program.

@Tempered I honestly dont know, I think there may be something wrong with the structural integerity of the ship, or the integrity of the ship not updating properly.

Okay, so I found this ship in game and killed all the crew. Now, when I board the ship it starts rapidly falling apart and blows up before I can even reach the command console. Even if I completely repair the ship before boarding, it still rapidly decays. So what is up with that!

Press delete to bring up spawn menu, then press insert and select the .flt file from the steam mods folder, the number of the file should be the steam mod ID which you can see by looking at the share link.

It will randomy spawn in your game, as you adventure and go about.
