Woodlands near Puakō Petroglyph Field, Big Island, Hawaii

The path to the main archaeological area leads through these scrubby woodlands, captured in late March 2017. Even out here, there are a few examples of ancient human figures carved into the hardened lava. I know of at least three in this scan. Can you find them?

(The birds really were that noisy and repetitive! You can just about hear the ocean waves in the distance, too. All I did to the few-minutes-long recording was adjust levels and add a basic loop in Audacity, then add loop points in Wavosaur.)

The ground worked out really well, the foliage above? Eh. Not so great. Next attempt at a woodlands scene will be much better, I promise.

Of note: this scene was processed and cleaned up entirely on my home PC. This *is* my new holiday photography...
